You can edit, tweak, and destroy other players city's in Sim City

It seems as though a YouTuber by the name of UKAzzer has found a way to go into anyones account and literally take over there city by tricking the games online functionality from seeing you as just a mer viewer to you owning the city!

Thus, you can take total control of the city! For more info how, check out the video description. UKAzzer stresses that nothing was synced to the severs, but I'm sure that wont stop players (like me) from wreaking havoc on a city near you!

This also shows that you can screw around with your city without it being permanent, another issue that has been stressed by players. Boy oh boy EA, looks like we have yet another entry in your tale of woe, hope those microtransactions work out for you guys!

Could Sim City be the beginning of the end of EA?

Probably not, but it will take a good chunk out of their finances and pride

There was tons of stupid decisions... But eventually I hope they'll fix everything. And if it does not improve, whatever next game they get might be better. Just take Blizzard with Diablo 3. It was a huge disapointment and a really big downfall even though they made so much money out of it because of hardcore Diablo fans having high expectation of the game. But then now they have Starcraft 2 that is really sweet. Same thing can happen to them only if they're smart and take notes and care more about their customers than about piracy...

No matter what bs is given about the game from EA or Maxis or anyone else can't be trusted! Not when stuff like this is shown through exploiting the system that is provided. This game just continues to get worse and worse reputation. I WANT TO GIVE YOU MONEY FOR THIS GAME but it's so impossible to merit spending my money on this game with each new day.

with all the other crap they are doing to video games, they will be soon. also if a company is resorting to microtransactions in games, they are basicaly saying "guys we REALLY need money D:"

they just need to do one thing to get most people, TAKE OFF THAT DAMN DRM! for me, I want to use the whole region to build my city in, not a tiny square with forced multiplayer.

Hopefully all these problems will let publishers know that always online DRM is one of worse things ever created. Trying to stop one thing but create multiple problems instead, yeah great job there.

Welp, this game isn't ever going to sell well anymore. It's like EA really wanted to lose money on this game.

they did it to stop the pirates, which isnt working out so well because you can just find a patch on pirates bay by now :/ let them wallow in the muck they have created for themselvs

The arbitrarily forced online mechanics of this game continue to amaze me.
