Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link is now an FPS?

Hello Hello Hello,

Now I'm not sure if you g1s know this or not but somebody decided to remake (as far as I am aware) the entirety of Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link in 3D and has made it into a First Person Shooter.

Wake up Zelda!!

I have not played a lot of Zelda 2 so I can't tell if it is accurate or not, but if you want to play it yourself then here's this Link (get it Link as in, ooh never mind).

This game looks and plays way better than many 3D Zeldas. I'm not even joking.

Also why are you all hung up on what the S in FPS means? Newsflash: not all RPGs involve role-playing. Maybe focus more on mechanics than the linguistic semantics, folks.

Wouldn't it work better as a Skyrim type game?

Yes it's First Person too, but it's not really a shooter, sans magic and bows.

That was pretty interesting.

I'm not sure if by FPS it means Link shoots those blades from his sword in this game like he could in Zelda II when his life is full (which is a very small part of Zelda II & doesn't even hurt most enemies) or if it means it's first person sword combat. Either way the main element of Zelda II's gameplay, being the amazing combat system, would be absent in such a remake. I applaud the effort put into it, but the idea just doesn't sound appealing to me. Just my opinion.
