This is different and good, its sortof like an American Zero Punctuation but a little more philosophical, Why isn't this guy on the screwattack team? He's better than Gamejew or PWNED were. So why not?

Now as I think about it I realize why The Kingdom Hearts series is so popular because with all the old Final Fantasy and Disney characters it makes gamers recall a brighter time in which they all wish to revert back to or at least have the state of mind as they did as a child.
Man even tho im 14 years old i grew up wth the originall nintendo. When i was just like 4 my mom wouldnt lwt me have any other system but i didnt care because the nintendo was awsome and it still is. All I have 2 say is great video.

When I played Super Mario Galaxy at a friend's house it just made me feel happy and serene. It was just fun and relaxation in the world of Super Mario. No blood, no sex, no profanity. It's amazing, it's true. I owe everything to Miyamoto, to every gamer, he is a god. It is true, Nintedo is a reviver of video games since the crash. Xbox, they seek for profits only, not enough for the gamers. PS3, middle, however failing us now. Nintendo not only the one thing of my childhood still alive, but it's the real essence of video games. Our gods will grow old and pass on...from there...who will take over? It's up to those who want to take over their place and keep alive what video games are about. Video games are why I still exist and I hope to take over one day and defend the true essence of video games alive.

I actually started to tear up. Yes, it was truly an emotional video but now I feel like crap for abandoning that crazy little Japanese guy...I bought a 360 because I was too impatient and now I can't even find a Wii. I just keep returning used 360 games because I beat them in a day or two and they just aren't fun for me. I finally understand. At first I felt betrayed by Nintendo because they were successful and I was confused, and now realize it was I who betrayed them. Well that was deep, let's move on, shall we?
I enjoy watching bob's videos cause he is the epitome of a retro-gamer truly is. He Remembers when games where unique and filled with different characters that made you feel great playing them. Today, we have nothing but the same kind of games using the same stereotypical characters in the same post-apocalyptic world. Then there's Nintendo, The "Funny Japanese man" is still helping to produce quality entertainment with those same great characters from our childhood, and he's not asking for much in return. I consider myself a Nintendo fanboy today only because when i play Super Mario Galaxy or Twilight Princess, i feel like that 8-year old kid waking on X-mas day to find a SNES in his living room. Thanks, Bob, For reminding us why Video games are fun.

Thats so cool! and ... true. the fact that i grew up with SNES,N64,GCN and now the Wii and dispite the fact that that i could of sold all the crap i have for all those to raise money for a wii without even trying, my nostalgia for all those systems and the same reasons you explained (mario,zelda,metroid,animal crossing,etc.) is exactly what keeps me a gamer. i am without dought a packrat and have strange connections to innanimate objects, but video games are toys, aren't they? Nintendo keeps me thinking that, and joining a halo 3 online multiplayer rampage then yelling at the rest of my team members because even though losing was my fault, i'm too wimpy to admit it certainly doesn't.
