Finished gaming set up...

When i say finished, i mean at least for the time being. Compared to what my set up was like before i change it all again (see here) this is a lot less messy and complicated.

Most of the cables are tied and then taped to the frame of the stand so they are out of the way. The outputs for each console are also readily available to go into the different inputs (dvd recorder, projector, tv, etc) and are markerd so i know which one is which. Same with the power plugs, there's about 13 different things that can be plugged in, in which 5 of them are permantly in for Sky, pc, etc.

I now have a better space for all my games as well, as before they were just placed around everywhere. Instead i have most of my DS and Saturn games in the tower my projector is on, while the rest of the games are either in racks or in boxes.

The rest of the room got a bit of a tool up, so i can now have a space to use my laptop more room for some other consoles i couldn't fit into the main unit.

While it may look any better to most people, i now have enough floor space to actually stand use my Guiter Hero controllers without sitting on my bed.

The downside with all of this is the fact i fixed the lag on my dvd recorder so it finally recorded 1:1. Typically though the moment i put everything into place and switched it on for the first time (which was at about 1.20am after doing this all for about 6 hours) it went back to lagging. I have no idea what has changed since the problem went but i'm still trying to get around it. That and it doesn't record from my Nes very well, so that's another thing to fix.

Next time i'll actually post about playing games now i can sit down and find a pad/game/console without diving through endless amounts of wires and boxes.

Awesome. I wish I had that

Awesome. I wish I had that much gaming stuff.

There's more...

But as you can see there ain't no more room for it all. I still have to find room for the SNES, Mega Drive, PS1, PS2, Amiga 500 and all the 100's of games that go with that lot. Need a bigger house me-thinks.
