So SGC is going on, and it sucks ass that Elmo and I can’t go. So what do we do to pass the time and forget about it all? We record another episode of Podcast 7.9! Today is special as we have Old School Master joining in. This episode was a pain to record as we recorded it before, had too many technical difficulties, and it was ruined. I found out the dumb mistake I made, and we recorded again, and it turned out for the best as this is easily the best episode of Podcast 7.9 so far. Dare I say this episode should be called Podcast 8.0? Well, download and listen for yourself. I warn you, I say stuff that may offend fanboys of all sorts. Yes, I seem to be good at that.
We seriously do try to stay on topic, but sometimes it’s hard. Sometimes we end up talking about the Pokemon show, Harry Potter, Elmo fighting with his family, and other misc crap. Also I must apologise to all Street Fighter fans for confusing Ken with Ryu. Ken is NOT on the cover of my first ever Street Fighter game, it’s actually Ryu. Yeah, you can shoot me an angry message if you want. You can also get mad at me for Elmo and Old school master somehow being quieter than me.

I'd like to start off by giving huge thanks to PekoponTAS and Oldschool Master, who is our first guest on the show, for making this one of the funnest things I've ever done. This is definitely the best episode of the podcast so far. Having a guest on really made a difference, and hopefully we can continue the trend next week with Thunderbird.
It took a lot of technical issues to get this working, seeing as the first time Pekopon plugged his microphone into the wrong socket *facepalm* and one of our greatest recordings was cut short when Pekopon realised he hadn't been... well, recording, but I still think this was awesome. I hope you fellow Screwattackers enjoy listening to this as much as me, Pekopon and OSM enjoyed recording it.

If you want to be on the show, there are two things you’ll need. First you’ll need a microphone, and preferably a decent one. Something you get at Wal-Mart will be really poor quality, and we may have trouble picking you up. Second, you need a skype account, and you’ll need to send friend requests to Elmo3000 and I. Also, we record on Saturdays as it’s the best day for Elmo and I. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me or Elmo. We’ll see if we can fit you in, but we might not get around to everyone. Who knows how much longer we’ll keep this up. :P
As a final note, I forgot to mention I got Bust a Groove for 6 bucks.

The original name is Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. They changed it for the American release, and I don't know why.

I hate to sound like an ass
I hate to sound like an ass by saying this, but I think the people who brought it over to America thought the Americans wouldn't know what Philosopher meant. I mean, isn't it the slightest bit strange that it was called "Philosopher's" Stone everywhere else? Even as close as Canada it was Philosopher's. It's not uncommon for people to dumb down stuff for the Americans... (I'm a Canadian BTW, and it WAS called Philosopher's stone here.)

I read that is because the publishers assumed that american kids wouldn't want to read a book with philosopher in the title. I would love to guest but sadly my microphone's broken. It seems sticking my laptop in front of a 50 watt guitar amp wasn't the best idea.

At around 30:00 Pekopon's created music game sounds like it would work better on iPhone/ipod touch than on DS. You could even use your own music for it like Audiosurf.
As for OSM's pong remake, it already exists in the form of Bit Trip Beat! Except instead of being a 60$ PS3 exclusive it's an 8$ Wiiware exclusive, lol.
