we're already excited for capcom's new NES game, megaman 9 for the wii's wiiware, but have you seen this...
I just love the cell-shaded anime opening for this game, not to mention the hilarious scene with Wario, but theres one question lingering, wtf? is that Saria from OOT as the captured girl?
that's right warioland : Shake it is going to be a Beautiful 2D Platformer that brings us back to the old days, looks like they are implementing several Yoshi's island Aspects, its looks absolutely awesome

from the hilarious opening video to the awesome looking gameplay video im totally excited for this game
this has had me hoping that more retro games like this will pop up in the gaming world. maybe the crappy third-party game developers for the wii will stop creating 3D trash and start making awesome 2D games. Seriously i would love it if it happened, but maybe this is all just a pipe dream

Could be Saria. I heard music that sounded an awful lot like music from OOT when it showed her. Could be nintendo wanted Saria to show up again as IIRC she was pretty popular. Too bad it wasn't in a zelda game. Or maybe they are related.

I have to agree, I love 2d games much more than 3d. 3d should be for sports and basic games, not platformers and games like that.
