Gamefly should be renamed

Gamefly should be renamed Gamecrawl. I know it's not the same type of service, but I'm a big fan of GameTap. You should check that out.

gametap doesn't rent console

gametap doesn't rent console games or have 5,000 game titles like gamefly does.

This is your own fault for

This is your own fault for not paying attention. The commercial CLEARLY states "Only 8.99 for the FIRST month". And if you are blaming gamefly for the slow Postal service then you have other issues to work out with yourself.

geez calm down,. that whole

geez calm down,.

that whole other issues thing is a bit too deep man,

ANYWAY,

just get steam or gametap, much better, but only for PC's

Im still on my first month

Im still on my first month asswipe

not to mention if you choose

not to mention if you choose to rent two games, the 8.99 fee no longer applies.

What commercial did you see?

What commercial did you see? Also here's something you should know, the post office sucks.

thanks

thanks for the tip i was considering getting that

I'd have to disagree on some ground.

Well, I can tell you why it cost you 16 bucks for the first month. You myst have selected the 2-games-at-a-time subcription. The 8.99 dollar subscription is for 1-game-at-a-time.

I used Gamefly before, and I really enjoyed using it. Since I live relativley closeby to one of their shipping centers, my games game in the mail in about 2 days. That may solve why your games came in so late; you may be living farther away from their shipping center.

As for your "Beat one and wait" predicament, that's why there is a 2-at-a-time option. You play one, beat it, and while you wait for the next one to come in, you play the second game you rented. It's very simple in retrospect.

For the time I used Gamefly, I really enjoyed the service. I did not have any trouble with the service, and I plan on resubscribing soon. I hope this helps you on any problems you had.

not doing the two at a time

not doing the two at a time service

Someone clearly has no grasp

Someone clearly has no grasp on the concept of how snail mail works.

You're not dealing with digital downloads. You're basically dealing with rental place that sends you your requests via the mail. So obviously you're gonna have to wait.

And I dunno what you're talking about. I had GameFly for over a year and only canceled because I didn't have the funds to continue renting from them. Not only was the rental service cheap, but being able to keep the games you rent was actually cheaper than buying a used copy from GameStop.

Gamefly Rulez

as far as im concerned. Seems you didn't do your research before signing up.
I get games in 2 days, don't remeber it ever taking 5 days. They've opened up 3 ship center in the past year to make it fast. I take games back to my post office that uses FastReturn, gamefly show's I returned it the next day and ships out the next game, you should try that. Too Human shipped for me tuesday and I got it thursday.
Either way, gamefly is biggest and best company renting console games, sooo yeah, they don't suck.

Plus the real deal now isn't the $8.95 trial but the xbox live deal where you get 30 days for $6 and 400ms points to boot. (www.gamefly.com/live) Yes, it's a trial after that you have to pay the normal subscription prices, big suprise. even then gamefly is awesome deal and essential service for people who want to play a lot of different games,
