metroid prime 3: corruption review

So yes I know that this might have been done before but I think it's fair that I give my opinion on the game so yeah here we go.

Obviously this is the 3rd game in the prime trilogy. The first thing that I must say is that the voice acting is very spot on and I complained in Twilight Princess and Mario Galaxy that they had only text really. But this game has voice acting so that's a big plus. I must say the controls are quite nice actually I really don't have too much of a problem with the wiimote and nunchuk. Overall its some of the best fps controls I've ever encountered. It's very cool that it doesn't abuse the Wii remote at all and the motion controls are well implemented. Also I must compliment the great visuals. The character models are very nice and also I have to say Samus looks kinda hot. The planets and space look very detailed and even from an artistic point of view the game looks fabulous. I also like Hypermode even though it can drain energy it makes Samus just a beast and able to shoot everything in a few shots. Lock on combat is cool and it just plays nice. The enemies are very cool and the bosses are fun to fight. So that's all cool. As far as bad stuff goes it takes a really long time to switch from location to location. It looks nice but it's a cover-up for the loading times. Oh well, at least its better than looking at loading screens. Also sometimes when I shoot the door to open it it takes forever to open I mean one time it took over 10 seconds. Also sometimes the game is unclear what to do and the story is kind of weak but still adequate. Overall despite all it's flaws this is a great game and if you have a Wii get it because it's one of the best on the system. Oh and do me a favor and don't compare to Halo. They're different. Very different.

Final Score: 967/1000. A must have.

You know what I don't get?

You know what I don't get? People rating games out of a thousand. When people are writing their review they don't mention 1000 points so why do people do it?

i do it

because i like a more specific rating system
