So I have taken up making signatures for some G1’s and I would like to extend it to everybody. I took the time to whip up just a couple of examples of some of the ones I have made. If anyone is interested in having one made you can send me a PM, or you can send me a message on AIM. Just tell me what kind of picture you want or a link and what you would like it to say. Or if you want one and don’t know what you want on it for sure you can write a little about yourself and I can make one off of that.

Sorry to say, but most of these seem pretty bad. I like the first one, and the second Poison Ivy sigs, but that's about it. Maybe you should go through a tutorial or two before you start making more. I'd love to see your sigs improve.

While I applaud your dedication, there really isn't anything spectacular about these sigs. I can honestly say that I could probably make over half of them in Microsoft Paint. It's just Copy, Paste, Resize, add font. Even some of the more advanced ones with background images aren't too big of a challenge. I'm not trying to be a dick, just stating my opinion. Anyways, keep on working at it, you can only get better with time, so keep on keeping on.

While I applaud your dedication, = I think it's cool how dedicated you are to making sigs, that's impressive.

I can honestly say that I could probably make over half of them in Microsoft Paint. = Seriously, I could make pretty much all of these in Paint. I'm not bragging, I'm just saying that there wasn't any amount of above average work put into these.
It's just Copy, Paste, Resize, add font. = Copy the picture from the website where you found it. Paste it into paint. Resize the photo to make it fit in your border. Add some font. That's ALL over half of these are.
Even some of the more advanced ones with background images aren't too big of a challenge. = All it requires is finding a pre-made background image and then copy and pasting a picture of the character on there. You'd have to zoom in and erase the original background from the character photo, but eventually it could be done.

And for all of those people who says no one should be critical just because she is doing a good deed. She put these up here to be judged and see our opinions. Just because we don't all lie to someones face like half of you are, doesn't mean we're being unfair. Almost everyone here who was critical gave her constructional criticism, which is a VERY good thing for someone. It only helps them get better.
ALSO for an example of a few recent things that I have made in paint that look better than these (not trying to brag, I'm just trying to show that these aren't too impressive and that even using PAINT can make much more complex images) check out below:

Maybe not as good, but at least they've had more work put into them, and are probably a bigger labor of love. They may not look better, but are definitely more impressive.
Him and I are talking at the moment about maybe making a few installments together. It all depends on what the reaction is from the g1s. Only time will tell.

I agree... I'm quite a Photoshop user and I can't see that those honestly took all that much time to make. I could be wrong, but it just seems like you JUST got Photoshop and using us as a runway so you can get going. Don't get me wrong, that isn't necessarily a bad thing but I think they could use some work.
They're still good, however. You'll get there :D

There is no need to tear her down. She enjoyed making them for people and they seem to enjoy having them. For those who claim they could make something better in mspaint, please show such works before claiming so.
Saying that she sucks is not constructive nor supportive. How about suggesting ways in which she could improve? Provide her with examples or links to tutorials you think could help.

Well, they are not best I seen but they are certainly the few of better sigs I seen on ScrewAttack.....
You seem to have the color blending down, but you need to work on your filters as well as adding some lighting.

On my past experiences, commentend on signatures, I know alot of sigmakers can't take constructive critisism. Does this stop me from tearing down your signatures limb from limb? No.
First of all, all of the these signatures show great potential, and I'm looking forward to see new work from you. I believe you'll do some great work in the future, but some of these signatures are plain ugly. The "Shop Smart" one makes my eyes bleed, so does the Master Chief and Sonic sigs. NEVER stretch pictures! It looks just AWEFULL. If you wanted to put that part of Master Chief onto the signature, simply make the picture smaller so it looks good. Same goes for "Shop Smart"
Also, the Sonic signature has an awefull coloursheme. Yellow, purple and blue? WHAT? They show some great potential, but the colour shemes on most of these signatures makes me wanna puke. Either make it obvious they're ment to contrast, or have matching colours. Otherwise it simply doesn't work!
I partially agree with what people have said: I've seen way worst on SA forums, but I've also seen way better. Simply keep improving your skills man! You never can't practice or learn too much! :P

Some of us think that the sigs are great, but that is our opinion. You do not like the sigs, and that is ok. Now, however, you are pushing your opinion onto us. So, when I say I think the sigs are cool you are implying that I am lying or that I have never seen a sig before? That is not an acceptance of opinion.
One of the other posters even criticized YOUR sigs, and you stated that yours were better because of the time you put into them. Isn’t it possible that Diana also puts love and care into her work?
Throwing around opinions is an important participation in this community. I would suspect that Diana wants feedback; otherwise she would not have posted her sigs. However, in order to help the community grow stronger we should be more constructive in our feedback.
Big D, I respect your opinion. I have seen you a lot on the blogs. I thought better of you though. Right now you are coming off as jealous, which I know you are not. I am just asking that you show your true colors, and show that you are a more constructive member of the community.

Good work! You're probably a beginner but you're pretty good. What software are you using? With what I see you,re probably using Photoshop because the background of almost every signatures has uses brushes (Shapes when you're using the drawing tool). I suggest you to follow advice on the web. Try first by knowing how to do abstract background they are probably the best way to find your style and then try new things that will make your art way better.
I'd like you to PM me if you answer to this so I could see your answer easily if it get pushed down or I just forget.

I forgot to tell you that you should maybe take a little bit more care about the way you're changing the pictures size some just doesn't look good. The more time you work the best the result will be.
Some sigs are great but yea.
Some sigs are great but yea. Next time you resize your renders hold shift while at it, it will keep your render looking good.
I think there were only two
I think there were only two I messed up the resizing on, the AOD and the halo one but I dont think the halo one is THAT bad.
