Hello, Kitt here,
and welcome to RUBBISH RETRO REVIEWS(or R3 for short) where i get to type out how reviews on rubbish retro games, and the first on the chopping block, is superman(N64)
now if you have read my other blog on the subject of superman(N64) ( http://screwattack.com/node/6376 ) you will hear about how i got this game for a mere 10cents...what i failed to tell you was that when i put the game in my system, i thought "wouldn't it be funny if this game was soo bad that dust would reject it?" cause i pent most of my afternoon cleaning my games, well sure enough...it worked with out me having to clean it, it was soo bad that dust rejected it
ok, well today i got a rumble pak, and i thought, "hey why don't i get some pics and do a review on one of the worse games ever?" when i turned on my N64 i was greeted by this picture
honestly i was shocked...i didn't expect to see superman's chest on my screen when i put a rumble pak in, in-fact when i think that is the last thing i would associate "rumble pak" with...but i pressed on, and i was then greeted by this message
i then proclaimed "WELL DUH!! i have a bloody rumble pak pluged in!", i think i was a little harsh when i made that remark, but i still pressed on, waiting for the next "surprise"
that's when i hit the menu
now i know its nit-picking, but when i play a game and i am greeted by a nice menu, that makes me think "dam this menu is great therefore the game must be great!" but...when i see this...it looks like something someone made at the end of the day,
well i have to say, i am not a good gamer, infact i am pretty bad at most games, so i went to the "options" and changed the setting to "easy mode", yes, the game has an "easy mode", it also has a "Superman Mode" but i don't want to try it..not till i am really REALLY drunk
so i started the game...but wait, i got this message!
the game already knows i put in a rumble pak, trust me i saw supermans chest, i know its in there, and it knows i didn't decided to put in a memory card...so why does it still have to tell me to put in a rumble pak? *relaxes* ok...enough ranting onto the game!
well first noticable change of the game in "easy mode" is....*dramatic pause* NO RINGS!!, thats right, all they did for "easy mode" is remove all the rings, its basically the same game, just with out having to fly though rings...See
well instead of rings you now just have to fly to the large markers...
whoa...them markers be huge...
well other then that, the car bits are the same and then you fly to the next place, and do another *sighs* fun filled...car carrying mission *sighs* and then...
i lost!! THANK GOD!!
honestly, this si the greatest screen...cause it means now i can turn off this game and leave it to rot in my brothers dirty laundry!!
so on that note:
kids, if a stranger offer you this game
JUST SAY NO! remember winners say NO to superman(N64)
and this is your friendly feline, Kitt, saying...i never want to play superman(n64) again! :(
