In my opinion this game deserved a perfect ten very amazing and very underated game. These are the types of games we should be spending are money on not freakin halo 4 or black ops 2. Those games were good in the begining but now the developers are just half assing it. I mean every new cod game is just basicly new maps and taken away features I mean your gonna take away zombie mode seriously tryarc. And as for halo 4 I lost interst in halo as soon as bungie stoped developing them
My experience with Dishonored was great, I would gladly recommend this game to everybody who wants to fell like a supernatural assassin searching for revenge!
I still Really want to play it! its now #1 on my list of games to get next!!!
When customers ask me what it plays like I try to say "well, it plays like Thief, if you're familiar with that"
most people don't, but a few have and they are more than happy to buy it. for those that don't I usually say it has a fallout feel but without as much of an RPG element.
Thief was a great game and dishonored definitely showed off that same "thief" vibe :)
If the gameplay and story are good I could care less if the graphics are mind blowing
I finished it today, pc version. Great gameplay, wide openly and really fun. Now, there is a little problem: the chaosmeter. If you raise the levels in the last 2-3 missions, you're screwed. And thats the point of this game: decissions, moral, and all that stuff.
9/10, no multiplayer, some graphic problems, waiting for dlcs.
Arcane, eh? Well, it still sounds and looks good.
1 its made by arcane studios
2 its mission based u are limited to go from a to b but in a open world setting
I will definitely look into this. Bethesda looks like they've outdone themselves. An open-world game with that much freedom sounds like perfection.
I actually just finished it today, and I have to say that for as shortly as I got through it, that it was incredible, I hardly ever used projectile weapons. Even the crossbow for stealth kills and take downs were ever truly needed, except for those moments I just screwed up too badly to slink away. It's possible to slice up every target or you could go for the nonlethal putting them into truly fitting punishments.
Just imagine Bioshock and Assassin's Creed, plus a bit more badass. That is dishonored.
Nice job Bryan. I'm also happy to see video reviews back.
I'll be sure to pick this game up when I have the money. Curse you Nintendo.
Any game that pays tribute to the Thief series is good in my book!
not to far off.. atleast i watching my friend play on the xbox last night.. and the models were great, but the textures in the environment looked like mud..
Everyone is raving about this game but I'm with the Penny-Arcade guys... It's alright. It doesn't grab me. I need to play it more though. I've only done the first mission. I don't really have the will to launch it back up though. Good thing I only rented it.
it sounds awesome!!!! i most likely will get it those powers look sick
This game sounds so deep. I really want it now.
I normally really like these reviews, but this one is completely missing the intro. You skip over the basic ground work of what the game is and what it is that you're doing before diving right in. It makes it somewhat of a confusing mess. I'm not trying to take a pot shot, I'm trying to offer constructive criticism.
Hit play and listen to the audio of this review with a mindset of someone who hadn't heard of the game before. It doesn't make any sense. You're using a lot of references to the specifics without ever establishing the game's basic idea.
I'm already happy with my buy of this game and i only played a few missions of it.
Looking forward to another playthrough of just destroying everything.
