Missed the joke?
I somewhat enjoyed the tri-force quests. For me when I was younger I barely knew where I was going already, instead of just going from point A to point B through the whole game like I do now, which can make it more of a tedious grocery list, but I still enjoyed it.
Easily one of the best game on the gamecube.
It's been 11 years, that's a pretty long time.
Need for Speed: Most Wanted got a reboot in 2012, and that came out in 2005. Need for Speed Most Wanted is on 360, while Need for Speed: Most Wanted(2012) is ALSO ON 360.
So yeah, there are many worse reboots to pick on.
because ben is the zelda guy
That long....long sailing.
The Tri-Forced Quest is still in the game? Why? It's the only reason for why I gave up trying to beat it. If it was taken out of the game I would have giving this remake a chance, but since I didn't have the heart to finish a 1/3 of the quest originally, I don't have the heart to finish it now.
While i know im not the only one who loved sailing, am i really the only one who loved the Tri-Force quests?
Well many people complaint about the existence of this game, I was... But when Nintendo said the HD remake took only 6 months of development, I thought It was ok, since they don't waste a lot of time or money, and bringed back the game for the many people hadn't played. And yes, I know a lot of latin american friends that never have the opportunity to play this game, now with the Wii U is enough reason to buy it....
C'mon Windwaker is probably going to have to most timeless graphics of any game ever, or at least from that Gen. Why didn't they HD Twilight Princess or Ocarina or Majora's Mask?
Also, bring back the Zelda Wednesdays or Mass Effect Adventure! It's cheap to take us all the way to the end of the first Mass Effect, tell us you're going to continue even with the new screwin' around format, and then NOT continue it.
Do video games really need to go the route of movies with a polished remake every few years? It's great if they introduce the game to new players but this is a little ridiculous.
Damn video player, can you guys add a text review please?
It's actually more of a "Japanese gamers don't care about HD remakes". If you see each and any HD remake has sold less than the original. WAY less.
How come you didn't let Craig review this? XD
Never had the chance to own a GC, so i'm loving it :D (was about to try pro controller, but gamepad works so well with it)
I have to say, the HD actually threw me off. The kind of jagged and unfinished look gave the original sort of a nice storybook feel that the HD has lost now that everything is super smooth. Maybe it's just me. Also, soooo much bloom.
Why the hell is Ben the funniest reviewer on SA?
I've read a few articles saying Zelda games aren't anywhere near as popular in Japan as they are in the western regions.
We need to control that seagull with that mind control pear and reach into the deep vaults of its memories and write a novel about its adventures and escapades.
Totally not me.
