Pick up a Wii Remote, slap in a MotionPlus, and get ready to swing Link's sword once again.

Zelda is depicted as a kind and benevolent ruler. As the holder. She is wise beyond her years and intelligent enough to rule her people. She always wishes to do what is right, and is extremely self-sacrificing. http://nslegal.com/ Though not always capable of defending herself or her people on her own,

I really like the game which had a dream, In the dream dark storm clouds were billowing over the land of Hyrule. ontario farm equipment auctions But suddenly, a ray of light shot out of the forest, parted the clouds and lit up the ground

Princess Zelda and the six shrine maidens terror that the cause for these proceedings is that Vaati's seal is deteriorating once again. The sound design for Four Swords Adventures will be still more recognizable to anybody who has played any Zelda game. zelda sword
screwuser999
one of the best zelda games of all time, heck it should get a 10

I have yet to beat this game, but I'm about halfway through and it is an excellent game. Although I got kind of tired of the motion controls after a while, and I think that may be why I haven't beaten it yet. I hope they have an option to play with the Pro Controller in the next Zelda game for the Wii U. The Legend of Zelda series is probably my favorite game series of all time, and I'd like to have the option to play with a controller like I've done with past Zelda games. Although, if they stick with motion controls, it's not going to keep me from playing the Zelda games. And I do agree that it is nice to include a bit of thinking when you're attacking somebody

This game is a must buy for Wii owners. My heart was racing in some of the boss battles.

I have been waiting for this game since the trailer at E3 2010, and when I finally got it, it did not disappoint, because of every single thing Jared mentioned in his review(though dowsing and swimming never really bothered me that much)

I'm no Zelda expert, but I still love this game. The combat is realistic and works well. Also, I don't think I've ever seen Link with more emotion (though this could stem from me not having played many Zelda games). The creativity in the puzzles also stunned me. Oh yeah, once you get to Hero mode, my God, is it a step up in difficulty. One little mistake takes away a big chunk of health. The boss endurance also becomes brutal. I know there aren't as many secrets here, and it does have little to find, but at least you don't have to do stupid stuff like play the Song of Storms next to a tree.

Jared's absolutely right: the actual surface of the world is like a dungeon in itself. This game is challenging, it keeps you interested, and yes, you absolutely want to rescue Zelda. I loved Twilight Princess, but this game is pretty equal in strength. Only thing I do have to say is that I never put enough time into playing it, which I don't really have a reason for. It might have to do with the fact that the constant dungeonish aspect of the game makes me work my brain, and the combat system as well, which even though is an excellent example of gameplay mechanics, it makes it so I only play the game one dungeon at a time. Its helping me to enjoy it though, and this game is absolutely beautiful. I quite honestly had tears in my eyes within 2 minutes of the game beginning. And oh my gosh I want to rescue Zelda so bad! After this weekend I'm gonna devote myself to this game even more. Excellent review Jared.

I've heard nothing but good things about this game. While I mostly just use the Wii as a second netflix box for the family these days, I just might have to dust it off and reclaim it just to play this game. I can't wait.

After watching Yahtzee's review before and now this, I came to the conclusion that anyone can be a video game reviewer. Well, anyone who likes video games, has a strong opinion, and the some sort of charisma?, I guess (well the ability to present you point of view in a manner that other people pay attention to)
X-rider
i thought the same thing. But be warned because on the internet people who have already made up there minds about games good or bad will flame you for a positive or negative review.
Bonidex
If you have a wii and don't have this, GIVE YOUR WII TO ME!
TK-KHAN
I like the graphics in ZELDA SKYWARD SWORD.
Chriscash
This is, in my opinion, withour having played Arkham city, the game of the year. Yes i have played Skyrim.. I just LOVE this game. It is the second best game EVER. Skyward sword is the game i have been waiting for since OOT. Cant wait to play it all over again someday!
Shenta
Why do so many people love this game? I HATE it. The whole game is just an excuse to be 40 hours. There shouldn't be a dungeon to get into a dungeon. There shouldn't be an excuse as soon as you get to the water dragon to get her water because she needs to recover. I shouldn't have to go find a pin on a air wheel just to blow air onto it just like I did with the other.
The games teases you that something amazing is going to happen **SPOILERS** when you go back in time. Nope. You just stay in the same room you were in. And now I have to find the triforce pieces? Joy.
ChildishHero
No one cares. Saying that there shouldn't be something is like saying that you designed it and your team didn't follow instructions. But wait... you are not the creator of this game. So shut up and let people who can understand and enjoy new concepts play this game. No one cares about your opinion if it does not matter. And you as person dont matter. so your opinion means less anyhow.
Asura_14
Even though I have the Wii I'm not planning on buying this game even though I know how good it is.... I've grown tired of the Wii since Super Smash Bros. :(
Linklex7
Maybe give it a rent. It couldn't hurt and it might give you a reason to play the Wii again, even if its only for that one game.
Asura_14
Yeah...you're absolutely right and I'd love to rent it but the thing is where I live there are no companies that rent games :( but i'll maybe find someone to lend it to me :)
JMAN_B5
That's the lamest reason I have ever heard for not getting a great game.
Asura_14
I see what you're saying but it is true...I just don't feel like going back to the Wii...
Ica44
Am I the only one who found the Nunchuck's cord to be quite short and a bit annoying at time? When I found myself trying to do certain passionate swings with the sword (e.g. during The Imprisioned fight) the nunchuck would cause a unwanted 'spin attack'... A bit frustrating to me sometimes... Also, does anybody else thinks the Lanayru Mining Facility was an awesome dungeon?
Capt. Chuckles
I believe that this game deserves a 10, but that's IMO. I like the watercolor graphics, to me it seems that they took some elements of Twilight Princess and WindWaker's artwork and put them together. The controls take a bit to get used to. I'm used to the old button-mashing technique, so it's a bit of a learning curve for me to strategize my every move. The music is amazing. And I enjoy the storyline and the game play.
Anyone who rates video games without playing them needs to do two things....1) turn in your gamer card and watch it be destoryed, and 2) Receive a spinning piledriver, into a burning table covered in thumbtacks, from Zangief. Chazgief will work too.
TCJJ
I enjoyed Skyward Sword but I still prefer Twilight Princess (especially control-wise) and Ocarina of Time is still my favourite 3D Zelda game, with Wind Waker and Majora's Mask pretty much equal second.
Cyborg_Slime
not as many memerorable tracks?? what about ballad of the goddess?? its been stuck in my head for 3 days now, since i got the game
dagamer991
Name another memorable track
Cyborg_Slime
faron woods is ok...and i liked the desert's theme....ok yeah there is not as many memorable tracks in the game as there should be. But all the songs are good and fit in with the game quite well.
Jing412
I'm surprised you didn't mention theme of romance but there really wasn't that many great memorable tracks in this game, which is rare to say about a Zelda game
dannygameboy1976
Been a great follower of zelda games and this one is defenetly going to be followed, roll on christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
sourmilkandcereal
i want that game so bad : (
werdman24
Hey guys, I just had a thought. What if Kina's song from Skyward Sword had lyrics (excluding the la la la la la)?
sam1024
I don't have a Wii but now I think it's worth buying
PedroPinzonV
I already have the game with a Golden Controler, Now I need to buy a wii :P
Fandango
As a man, I hate what I am about to say. I wish I had a Wii.
FrankHaggar
When the motion plus goes down in price i may buy this( not the biggest zelda fan but im trying to get in to it)
8Void8
you made it sound like a great game, i think it's good, but rather a 7 than a 9.5, because this game is a step back in the series, smaller than the others, you start with 6 hearts already, it is fun, but not worthy successor imo of ocarina of time or twilight princess, wheres there's much more going on, with skyward sword i felt i was playing a ds zelda, and i like those games, but they aren't up to the level of older games
NoOriginalUserName
That main theme gets me every time
Mr_Awesome
It's so amazing! (except that harp...)
Tuvaya
Check out my review here: http://www.screwattack.com/news/legend-zelda-syward-sword-review
emboba
this is my favorite video game ever
LordoftheDerp
Still wish their were more proper dungeons. There's just a pathetic number of bosses
CrazyDuck
I was amazed at how responsive the combat is. I rarely get a swing instead of a jab but for the rest it's amazing.
The art direction watercolor looks are great but I must admit that while graphics don't make a game the Wii is really starting to show it's age + it was not very hefty hardware wise to begin with.
Other than that every single second (except for the Star Wars weekend last week :P ) of free time I had was spent playing Zelda. Nuff said !
Buuhou
Indeed, the realistic side of the MotionPlus is fantastic. I'll buy it for sure.
oldman
Looks good but, my damaged rotator cuff is hurting all ready... at least i have a a reason to fire up the Wii
writingrooks
Dammit, going to have to buy a Wii U because this game was good ;(
U win this time Nintendo !
gonzoneil
I'm so interested in this game. Zelda's character looks fascinating to me.
gonzoneil
what? why? this is a Wii game...you're gonna be waiting another six months if you're waiting for a Wii U to play this game.
Jing412
Amazing game is amazing game easily in my top 3 favorite games of this year
hypercombo64
this game so far is amazing. sadly i havent played as much of it as i want. the new combat style definatly brings more of a challenge into the game. and i would say this is the best wii game that i own. even tho i only have like 4. 2 being zelda games.
