Black Nerd Hates Pokemon

Nintendo recently announced Pokemon X and Pokemon Y for the 3DS, which has Pokefans excited. Many thought Andre of Black Nerd Comedy would also be happy about it. But he reveals that he's actually held years of hatred towards Pikachu and friends... and it all has to do with the KidsWB?

sad thing is network TV doesn't even have cartoons anymore, when I was a kid and well into my 20's there was both Saturday morning and weekday afternoon cartoons , hell there were weekday morning one's too,as well as others at different times on different days, now there is one block on the CW of pure crap, and I blame 4kids for all the crap not only do they continue to do terrible dub's of anime but some of the worst atrocities were in the past shaman king,one piece, and the original yu-gi-oh, just to name the biggies, but they ruined lots of good shows, hell even pokemon was pretty slap dash. But back to the point yes I do think cheap crap has killed cartoons forever, even cable is mostly a wasteland of reruns and flash animated garbage,lucky for me the internet is here now and it's bounty is limitless.

To me, Dragon Ball Z is my Pokemon. Many anime/shows got shafted because of it. Not just cancelled but also ignored, badly. I don't hate DBZ, I just don't like it as much as everyone else.

It's barely a good anime to begin with because of terrible plot, repetitive fight scenes over and over again, and the infamous "one hero syndrome". But it gets a pass because fanboys like the over the top fights.

It gave "anime fanboys" too much expectations on other anime. When one anime doesn't have over the top battles in the first episode, people criticize the anime completely without giving it a chance. So many good animes get shafted because of DBZ, especially ones that has excellent stories and characters.
