I probably will not purchase a PS4. I mean, requiring to purchase a separate portable gaming system in order to play certain games is just ludicrous to me. Zero backwards compatibility is another minus, even bigger than requiring a freaking Vita. Thinking about it now, them requiring a Vita to play games is like Sega's desperation attempt to keep the Genesis alive with the Sega CD and the 32X, or Atari's attempt to keep the Jaguar alive with the Jaguar CD. Kinda makes me wonder if Sony's console division will go out like Sega's and Atari's did. Only time will tell.

I don't need all the extras modern consoles are overloaded with today. And now it's getting even worse -_- If consoles were ships, then modern ones would be overcrowded cruiseliners while for example an N64 would be (at that time) a freaking speedboat - only containing the essentials, streamline for best boating experience (or gaming experience). And THEN maybe some open slots for extras, like rumble packs oder modems, like on the gamecube.

lets just say e3 will tell us more about the ps4 that they couldnt say during one conference there is way too much to actually tell us everything. One big thing they need to elaberate more on is Playstation World where all the PS1-PS3 games can be streamed without download from your ps4 console. On another note they still have to release a price and show us the console as well i know a concept model is done don't believe their lies saying its not. They also have more games tba and much much more. They still havent officially listed the tech specs just explained a bit so thats another thing they'll probably go more into detail with.

The conference I actually found to be horrendously lukewarm; say what you will about the Nintendo Directs, but they know what they're talking about and they get to the point as quickly as possible. Sony's conferences are always boring, awkward, and take too long. They did show off some interesting stuff, but it was mostly tech demos with the only actual gameplay footage being Watch Dogs which is a PORT of the current stuff (and was played on a PC from what I understand). I'm not really hooked on the PS4 due to the stupidity of lacking backwards compatibility (and let's face it, Sony didn't omit because of architecture, they omitted it because they need to pinch as many pennies as they can from people right now) and the fact that there's NO WAY they can a decent price point with that. It's probably gonna hit the PS3's outrageous launch price, but the rumored $430 is probably on the money. And not something I would buy. We'll see how this goes down and with Sony screwing up THREE system launches in a row I ain't getting my hopes up.

P.S. I also noticed the double standard people did with the Diablo 3 reveal. Nice to see the status quo of Nintendo never being allowed to be good is still around

Unless the ps4 is more like the ps2 or ps1 than the ps3, i wont be buying it. Even if it is like the ps2 or ps1, i wouldnt buy it unless it was like 150-200 bucks. Those are a lot of "ifs", so i doubt it will happen.
