I'm not a fan of either anime/manga, but Elfen Leid is at least well written and executed.

Just curious: for what reasons in particular? Like; are the three worst case-studies and examples of humanity THAT much worse Kei Korono? I mean, the very fact that you describe Kei Korono as somehow more obnoxious than Shinji of Evangelion-infamy must make Kei's grotesqueness at-least-somewhat rival that of Green Green characters . . . You know what I mean?

gantz isn't deceptive in anyway, 2 episodes in and you know exactly what you are in for, and there in no real change in tone or expectation. green green...surprise yaoi. Nuff said.
