Gaijin Goomba's Top 10 Games of Japan p.2
A BIIIIIIG THANKS to g1 GoombaXx for the number animations!!!
Well after four long weeks of waiting it's DONE! The last half of my top 10 games of Japan is complete! Sorry for the long wait guys. Doing that premiere and the following damage control on MatPat's youtube channel ate up a lot of my time. But I hope you enjoy this list!
There are a lot of interesting games here, so take a crack at them if you can!
thanks for telling me about Jump! ultamite stars. If only i had had it on my ds intead of a laptop.
I remember playing a game like Taiko no tatsu-jin (that drum game) at an arcade here in sweden once, and it was excellent. Although I think there were two drums, so I guess it's mora like a bongo game than a drum. Rythm games are one of my favourite genres, and I was quite dissapointed when I realised they had removed it when I went there again. The only music game they had were Dance Dance Revolution and Guitar Hero, which I can play at home.
Really loving all the facial expressions, by the way. They all look very natural and fitting.
Gundam vs Gundam NEXT Plus......You sir, are win!
Cries Not Seeing Mother 3
Just a friendly guest here. I am quite "oblivious" to how subscriptions work, and partially to lazy to find out how :P. To make a my point short. I AM a fan that isn't subscribed so know that I'm always there, in the shadow o_o
I do, i had lot of fun, but the simple game play and colourful athetic really puts people off (except me) ... sadly i think ive run out of friends to rope in. and the arcade is a fair drive away and being so old i dont think i could justify the drive by myself. i must say i dont think the hand held will beable to compare the arcade status adds that layer of excess that is the cherry on the cake.
oh quick question, how come some many Punk Effect shows are on screwattack? not complaining just i was always under the impression that you guys had to sign up with a site so your work would appear on usually a max of 3 sites including your own. i.e. site that stores the video (e.g. blip) , site displays it (e.g. screwattacK) , your own personal site?
Also how come you returned to the states? Did you ever consider just staying in japan? or was that not an option?
Best regards, (my apologies if im less than coherent, its recently been the anniversary of death in the family & another family seems close to there own passing, which has put additional strain on a sick family member... so under lil strain)
But thanks for the videos Gaijin Goomba, look forward to your future projects.
ZOMG #3 IS ONE OF MY DREAM GAMES.!!
Then count your lucky stars mate, because I've never actually seen it in the states. =(
Tank Tank Tank... isnt Japanese exclusive... ive played it several times in the UK. arcade
Man I hope this has gotten more than 117 views. o___O
Your show has become one of my favorites. I like japanese games, but strangely I don't really no that many (language barrier and all). So yeah, for me, your show is quite interesting to watch, thanks for that :)
Man, I'd love to play "Taiko no tatsu-jin" (that's how you write it, right?)
Really liked your list man some of these games look so great. Btw if you like Gundam vs Gundam and if you have a PS3 you can grab this here http://www.play-asia.com/Mobile_Suit_Gundam_Extreme_VS/paOS-13-71-bp-49-...
I ment the Rhythm Heaven game on the gba though i dont know if thats a port of the arcade game or if its completely original
If you mean the arcade game, I would say that the arcade scene is too dead for Nintendo to want to invest in it. If you mean for a console, well, with the exception of the GBA, I think Nintendo did bring all their Rhythm Heaven games over.
I. FUCKING. LOVE RHYTHM HEAVEN. such an underated game!! but that begs the question...if nintendo now knows that the series will sell... why dont they release it here? they had some of the original games on rhythm heaven feaver so why not just send the whole game? any nice video :D cant wait for more like this
I got the GBA Rhythm Tengoku and it's pretty cool. I saw photos of the arcade and I'd loved to play on one since at my place in Europe we have no cool video game arcades. I will definately get my hands on Tank! Tank! Tank! if it should get here on the Wii U!. Looks way better in your presentation then just a brief clip from Nintendo's summery trailer on E3. I played Taiko No Tatsujin just on the DS before but love games like the actual DDR arcades with Japanese songs on them...I reallly need to get a trip to Japan someday! X///3
I know how that feels, there's a ton of great tales in games but languages make it harder to enjoy. My friend is actually learning Japanese solely so he can play Seisen No Keifu and the rest of the Japanese-exclusive titles. My hope is that Nintendo just remakes them all for us Westerners undedicated enough to learn a new language...
I couldn't get into RPG's while I was in Japan because of, sadly, the language barrier. I'm conversational in Japanese, but I can't talk about time compression, robotics, science, or world doom theories in Japanese. =(
As was I with no Fire Emblem titles that were Japanese exclusive, but everyone has their tastes.
Thanks, and my bad, i'm watching it right now. TABLE FLIPPING!
