Game Sack - The Rare and The Valuable
In this episode we take a look at some fine and maybe some not-so-fine games that can be tough to add to your collection. What are some of the more rare and/or valuable games you have?
Wow, now I feel bad for bringing it up since it's excellent (I reviewed it). Also, sorry for the late reply, my notifications is messed up for some reason.
Ghost Babel, no. Shantae, yes. Could have bought it at one point but stupidly passed it up due to a defective brain.
I still have a copy of Chrono Trigger for the snes sealed on my shelf. Got 2 for my birthday a LONG time ago and parents said to keep one because it'll go up in price some....I can never thank them enough :p
Very lucky to have found Ducktales 2 for $4 at a resale store that was too mainstream to care.
I thought Dave would be interested because its an cute em up but I think its more of a left in japan episode but it is still pretty damn rare.
You wouldn't happen to have heard of Ghost Babel or Shantae for the GameBoy Color? Good episode as usual by the way.
No, in fact I don't even think I've heard of that one.
Do you guys have Harmful Park for the PS1
Magic Knight Rayearth for the Saturn. I didn't even know it was a series, but the coverage in EGM made me go, hey I'd really like that game. Finally grabbed it at $99 last year, just beause I didn't have the means to get it in '98.
I guess Xenoblade Chronicles counts too.
My rarest game? Most likely Alundra on the good old PSone
Huh, I had no idea Castlevania Legends is rare. Too bad I only have a loose cartridge.
I HAVE EVO! :D & duck tales 2
I'm not sure what my Rarest game is, but probably my Puyo Puyo 20th Anniversary collectors pack for DS. Either that, or the 7th and 8th Touhou games.
EDIT: No wait, I have an Action Max with Sonic Fury. Super rare, but I always forget about it. It sucks.
I think the rarest game I own is either Lufia 1 (complete) on SNES or suikoden 2 on PS1. Though Xenoblade Chronicles is going up in value.
