great video guys i think i'm addicted to your shows now. I'm surprised a mega man game didn't make the list, cause lord knows it's had its ups and downs. I would have to say that all the PS1 final fantasy's disappointed a little bit (after playing six I never got the same feeling from these other ones). final fantasy 10 made it all better tho. a game that surprised me..? hmm, I would have to say recently it was tomba. the game looked bad, and looked like it played bad when my friend was playing it, but then when i played it I had a blast :-D I'll be checking out your other episodes guys!

Disappointing, I would probably go with Other M from the top of my head. Not bad, but not amazing. With a surprise, I would go with Goemon's Great Adventure. It was much better than what I would have ever thought.

Disappointed: Tomb Raider II. I don't know if my relevant play skills somehow deteriorated after beating its predecessor, but I found the puzzles less intuitive and clumsily implemented in comparison to those in Tomb Raider. The experience became frustrating and I never completed the game.

Surprised: Halo. When I first heard about it, I paid it no mind. The game came across as just another first-person shooter featuring aliens. Once I sat down and played it, I really felt like a dumbass for ignoring all the word of mouth.

Dissapointing: Kingdom Hearts 1. I loved 358 days, and when I finally got a ps2 and played kingdom hearts 1 I just couldn't get into it for some reason. I'm sure if I could play it back in the day right after I beat 358 days I'd love it

Suprised: Minecraft. My friend showed me the pc classic mode 3 years ago and I ignored it, ended up being addicted a week later

Disappointing: Beyond Good and Evil: I hear from just about everyone that it's an awesome cult classic for the PS2. I tried to like it, I really did, but I just couldn't do it.

Surprising: Mischief Maker: Came in expecting nothing from this game, and I loved it, although I do hear that some people don't like it. Bastion: Got it because it was part of the summer of arcade a couple years back, expecting nothing at all, and what I got was quite possibly the greatest gaming experience on my 360 in years.

i'm inclined to agree with Mario Kart 7. Good game, not as good as it should have been. For surprising, i'd go with The World Ends With You (DS) and Bionicle Heroes (the GBA version), both were surprising and refreshing titles.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one disappointed with Mario Kart 7,Mario Kart DS had more to offer.
