I'm Rge. I've been working as a programmer since the age of 16, and finally sick of being under paid opted to return to school and get one of those fancy pieces of paper called a degree. While attending University I began working part time as a games journalist, and about a year ago began a YouTube channel. I hated my content, closed it down, and a few months ago started all over. My content puts more of an emphasis on information over entertainment, and I think that's what sets me apart from the majority.
"A Look At..." is a first impressions series with a strong emphasis on information over entertainment, because how entertaining can a man who is entirely monotone be?

Nothin I can do about it. This is literally the only voice I have. However I did try and slow down how quickly I talk on this video because generally it's too quick and I miss things that I want to talk about otherwise because I don't work off of a script or take many notes besides just fact stuff such as the developer.

Hope you don't take my comment negatively. Your review is quite thorough. Guess I was sessnipped after watching Mr. Sessler talk about something. I am amazed at how a New Zealand team of only 18 people pulled off this fantastic game. I too fellt the need to give them money just because I believe they really deserve it.

I didn't really take it negatively, but I did want to clarify why I was going slow. I do videos for a smaller gaming news site a lot of the time so I read like 30 comments a day that are along the lines of "This guy sounds like he wants to kill himself... AND HE SHOULD" so yours is like a compliment in comparison. But most of my other stuff I talk faster, still monotone as shit though.

I agree with Magnuz, but i did click on a random podcast to see if they were all like that... you sounded more relaxed in it and the slightly faster speed along with having a bit of a laugh enjoying yourself, sounded much better! the gloomy boring voice was gone! ...hence maybe relax a bit more? when creating a review perhaps (is it because you're reading from a script when reviewing?)
