The Worst Ever: Zelda Game
All Zelda games are good, right? There could never be a WORST one! Evidently that's not the case.
What's your worst Zelda game ever? Let us know in the comments!
chad's explanation on how the Zora's became the ruto tribe has GOT to be the BEST EVER in this WORST EVER
for the guy who said OoT was the worst, I want to stab him in the knee cap HOW DARE YOU HATE ON ONE OF THEGREATEST VIDEO GAMES OF ALL TIME .
You guys should really do a best ever zelda also
Wind Waker drove me nuts with the sailing, and the teleporting system always dropped you four squares left and two squares right from where you needed to be. Out of the LoZ games I played the worst ever would have to be Majora's Mask. You at most you have little over a real life hour to try and save Hyrule's technologically more advanced clone, but because you can't you just undo everything you ever had done to try, try, try again. The Bomber Note Book is what really gets me though. You go back in time, wait for ever and a half to kick Majora's ass as some freaky-deaky over powered god who is possibly evil, and then everything you have ever done is recorded in your notebook and every one gets their happy ending even though you didn't help them out this time around. WTF! And Link never accomplishes his own personal quest to find his friend who has a knack for abandoning her ward. It was still fun though.
The Legend of Zelda, for NES.
What do I do.
If you're not a kid in the 80s with a subscription to Nintendo power, that game is unplayable.
No, it isn't.
Not really. Before playing it during freshman year of college, i played it when i was 8. I only got up to the fire temple. Yeah it seems stiff, but i didn't mind.
also, i think chad just made evolution sound like a hoax...
I agree with wind waker probably being the worse because of the things you had to accept as well as the fact that if link himself didn't exist because he went back in time it really bugs me that no one else was around to just do things. because even if link dies (like the official timeline suggest) someone else rose up and did something about ganon so...yea. or the gods just giving some new hero awesome powers instead of flooding almost the entire world.
Was it your first time playing the game? I played it when I was a kid, but the last couple of times I've played it, it hadn't aged that well.
Wind waker was awsome
and yet again, the skyward sword hate bandwagon keeps on rolling and doesn't look like its coming to a stop anytime soon
skyward sword was amazing and fi never bugged me but also the good Zora are river Zora, they would have died if they didn't evolve into the Rito
lol it was the only one i liked of the sieries.
It does in the Japanese version, I think...
SKYWARD SWORD IS THE BEST GAME EVER!!!!
Yeah, and Skyrim gave direction through abstract little arrow that said "go here." Abstract elements like that only serve to act as band-aids for poor game design.
I kinda disagree, i played OoT recently on my roomate's N64, and I enjoyed it. I say it aged pretty well in my opinion. Yeah comparing it to the 3DS version, it does seem stiffer (my best friend made that comparison, he still liked the N64 version despite that). I haven't played MM yet, so i can't comment.
The difference is in Skyrim you get a sense of direction. I don't care how well it utilized its space if it doesn't actually give much in the way of direction.
