I have never played on a Saturn, so I can't comment. However, it must be good that it's gotten a lot of fans, right?

What's with the saturn hate? I doubt any of you really played on Saturn. Castlevania:Symphony of the Night is far superior on Saturn. The brick controller is optional. I just use a 6 button genesis controller.

The Saturn was a great system, and actually the must have system... If you could read Japanese. All the best games never saw NA or EU land. Mainly because at the time the president of Sega America didn't think RPGs and the likes could "sell"

I was in a military family...so I was actually in Okinawa when it came out. So upon returning to the states and picking up a saturn...saddened by the lack of selection.

Yeah it's amazing seeing the... Disconnect? Between the Japanese library and any other library. Saturn was really the console to own if you lived in Japan though. A good portion of the multi console games were the best on the Saturn as well.
