Classic Commercial - You Can't Play NiGHTS on PlayStation
Oh the nineties and putting down competitors.
you’re truly well informed and very intelligent. You wrote something that people could understand and made the subject intriguing for everyone. Thanks for the information. And keep postinggymnastics rings
Great information you got here. I’ve been reading about this topic for one week now for my papers in school and thank God I found it here in your blog. I had a great time reading this .
This is one of the right articles you can gain in the net explaining everything in particular regarding the subject. I thank you for action your abstraction sharing your thoughts and ideas to a lot of readers out there. AdvanceLoan.net
Whoop dee shit. But that still means the ad is completely wrong. There was a game that did that before NiGHTS.
I used to be an advocate of PC games because of the keyboard and mouse a but the one thing you can't do is a perfect circle strafe because you have to lift the mouse and it messes up your line of sight.
I just never really liked the cockeyed analog, I like my movement together and actions mirrors. but a FEW games do need a 360 to play confortably. Like Deadrising and DR:2 OTR. I cannot stand playing that on playstation controllers. Must have 360 style. So I have a pelican ps3 controller for just that.
All else fails. Keyboard and mouse.
I miss the '90s........
Well, why is it that we remember those that were successful? We don't remember the failures as much, except in the case of epic fails like ET. While the Saturn did fail, many games it had lived on. I never heard of Magic Carpet till the VGV was done. NiGHTS on the other hand, I can't name a kid in my entire year that never heard of the game.
Not saying your wrong and I'm right, but history in itself has proven that remember success over failure.
Yeah it's amazing seeing the... Disconnect? Between the Japanese library and any other library. Saturn was really the console to own if you lived in Japan though. A good portion of the multi console games were the best on the Saturn as well.
I have never played on a Saturn, so I can't comment. However, it must be good that it's gotten a lot of fans, right?
How is that the point?
And how much did that game suck?
Sega of America had that while Sega of Japan had Segata Sanshiro.......I think we got robbed.
The 360 controller has to be my all time favorite, the mold fits naturally into hands and the button layout compliments the natural layout of your thumbs, just like the Dreamcast controller does. Though I am interested in trying out that WiiU Pro controller because it moves the 2nd analog stick up to where the face buttons are.
I can play dreamcast no problem...but xbox is a mystery. Don't know why.
I was in a military family...so I was actually in Okinawa when it came out. So upon returning to the states and picking up a saturn...saddened by the lack of selection.
The Saturn was a great system, and actually the must have system... If you could read Japanese. All the best games never saw NA or EU land. Mainly because at the time the president of Sega America didn't think RPGs and the likes could "sell"
I got one that did the same thing for the Xbox :D
There's also a sweet one that let's me use wired 360 controllers on the PS3, now I can play games properly!
Which is why I'm glad I got an adapter to use ps2 controllers on any system.
