Oh, Resident Evil 4. How I enjoy that game so. I played that game so much I had everything unlocked and I could speed run the crap out of it if I wanted to. To this day I still play this game and enjoy it from beginning to end. Lately in video games dispatching enemies has started to feel like a chore to me in most games, but I still don't get that feeling in RE4. This game... this game is one of the best games ever made.

I defend RE5 and 6 as good games, but I can't deny RE4 was exceptional. Got me into the series and could replay it multiple times.

It just makes you look back and shake your head and go "Capcom, what happened?" when you consider the state of the series today. A lot of people have said when a studio head leaves the company that "it takes more than one person to make a game" and this is true, but I think it's the vision and the leadership that was Shinji Mikami to go work at Clover (then Platinum, and then his own company), well, I guess we all know what happened then.
