Wait, so you're implying that you've never seen that commercial? it was everywhere in the late 90's. I got sick of seeing it all the damn time.

Actually, I saw this instead http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xLIK9OahmOI. You could now probably tell why I had never seen the American commercial. The commercial consists of Meowth talking about his problems and how Pikachu is really popular.

The girl talking in the seductive voice creeps me out....

I think her outfit was creepier. I remember another pokemon commercial that came out around the same time as the bus one. It involved these two kids who were next door neighbors. Then I think Pikachu jumped out of one game boy holding the world's largest link cable so the two boys could catch em all. But the bus one was on a lot more often.
