Seriously the guy made tracers that allows him to track a suspect using said tracker ... VIA SPIDEY SENSE!

Well okay they actually emit a frequency that his Spidey-Sense picks up, and is able to track anything that he puts a Spider-Tracker on with just his Spidey Sense ... more or less.

His STEALTH suit: which is able to go completely invisible and has sound cancelling abilities.... making it literallly HIS NINJA OUTFIT as he could be sitting right next to you and you wouldn't notice as he'd be both invisible because it's LIGHT NEGATIVE and wouldn't make a single sound.

His own variation of the GOBLIN GLIDER, He calls the Spider-Glider.

2 upgraded versions of his armored suit....

One of which he HAD to make because he had lost his Spidey Sense and couldn't really dodge bullets like he used to be able to.... so he made a suit that was both lightweight and bullet-proof.

Furthermore... Batman is ESSENTIALLY the Green Goblin in the eyes of Peter.

Both are Multimillionaires with a crazy costume, Hight-tech gadgets, Genius IQ's, and both are great at Hand-to-hand combat.

AND Spider-man is shown to be able to take down Green Goblin all the time... so it's not THAT far-fetched to believe that he could take down Batman.

1. Tony's suit was a gift, what reason did parker have to assume anything was up. That will not be the case with Bruce's toys. The moment parker touches it, he's going to assume there are security measures and he will overcome and Batmans toys WILL fail him in his time of need.

2. Spidey has: the Avengers, the New Avengers, the Fantastic Four, the Future Foundation and the X-men. Peter has contacts, Peter has resources. Remember, with 50 dollars, Peter is a match for Bruce's 100 billion dollars, now imagine peter with 100 billion to work with.

The Joke probably does infact know that Bruce is Batgod. Batman has to first connect Spidey to Peter (hard enough) but the only people that would be of any real help will be giving peter a call right after to let him know someone has been snooping around.

Batman doesn't assume shit. Being the worlds greatest detective means you don't get this shit wrong, even if it takes insane leaps of logic (that are always validated as completely right). Only one person can successfully keep any secret from Batman - The Joker. And he kept that by not having a goddamn origin, just by emerging from the insane hopelessness and desperation of Gotham. So the only way Spider-Man could elude Batman's detective skills, is by actually not having an origin. Aaaaaand not happening for a teenager with a bug bite.

So, here's how it actually goes. Batman uses his research to observe Spider-Man, and uses his detective knowledge to figure out who he is (Spoilers: Its the one guy in the fucking city who got pictures of Spider-Man). He studies his history, uses the public records to find out where he got his powers from by observing what events predated his first manifestations of power, and goes forward with the theory of a cross-species abilities transferral. Using this, he figures out his weakness. Gets a bug bomb big and powerful enough to blanket New york city, and waits to set it off.

Because he's an arrogant prick, Spider-Man doesn't feel the need to prepare, just like he doesn't ever do in the comics (motherfucker doesn't even have life insurance - he thinks he's invincible). The rules say both would be allowed prep time, but the rules also mean each contestants personality remains the same - meaning Spider-Man would act like he always does.

Spidey tracks down batman, figures out he is Bruce wayne. Wayne comes home one night to find all his toys have been hacked, destroyed and some of them stolen. Peter's spider sense will keep Batman from discovering who he is and then when the fight comes, Spidey comes riding in on reverse engineered Wayne technology screeming "even Frank Fucking Miller couldn't save you now!!!" before drop kicking Batman in half.

And I notice you STILL didn't actually list any prep time feats for Spider-Man at all.

actually, spiderman has better prep time feats because he does all his prep work on a much smaller budget than batman.

Spider-Man doesn't have any notable achievements in preparation, while Batman is pretty much built around anticipating his oponent and preparing a counteroffensive for what they do. Its fine to point out the rules would limit Batman, but don't try and claim that Spider-Man is anywhere close to the same level as Batman in preparation and anticipation.

This was definitely a close battle. In the end though, the Spider sense was just too much for Batman to keep up with. It's hard to a land an attack when your opponent has an ability that warns them of incoming attacks. Although, I actually think Batman would have won if they been given, say, a month to prepare for this encounter. It very well could have been enough time for Batman to develop a gadget to overcome the Spider Sense.
