Holy crap. Okay, first of all, I cannot believe this video STILL gets comments. Second, it's primarily a joke battle. To see this "debate" get WAY out of hand disappoints me deeply. Hopefully, we've resolved our issues since it's been a couple of days, but I'm going to let all parties involved off with an official warning. I believe this battle was just shown off as to how comedically bad Starscream is. And before you ask, I am a big fan of Transformers. So can we all just chill?

The Null Ray is purple, not blue. That shot was clearly not the Null Ray.

Secondly, if the Null Ray moved at the speed of light, which it obviously doesn't, then Starscream is an even worse shot than we originally anticipated. Plus, Megatron was able to turn around and pull out a shield in order to block the Null Ray. If Megatron can move fast enough to block it, then the fastest pegasus in the world surely could dodge it.

As for the "Null Ray working on humans" thing, don't worry too much about that. The wikis worded it poorly. What they meant was that it worked on all electronic devices, whether made by Transformer or human. Clearly, humans themselves are not electronic devices.

I didn't even scratch that crystal, and even if it vaporized it that is still not close to the damage Rainbow can take. Killing Autobots doesn't count as they are electronics which is what the Null-ray was designed to destroy. That doesn't even make the slightest bit of Sense, Real life Brainwaves aren't affected by EMP's, and yet based on BS you assume the Null Ray can do something it has never showed or even implied being able to do and shut down living brains! it's not even consistent against electronics as Megatron and the Dinobots are immune to it. Starscream's Null-Ray is a form of a LASER pistol, meaning It fires a laser beam, which means: "light amplification by stimulated emission of radiation" In other words... it's moving at the speed of light because IT IS light... thus no being can dodge it.

Furthermore the mere science behind just how fast a laser would move ... I HIGHLY doubt you'd be able to understand it ThorGunderson

The brain is essentially a very complex computer of sorts that DOES work on electricity, so the Null-Ray being a weaponized version of a EMP but made into a laser.... it DOES make some sense that it theoretically COULD work on a human being.

It should also be pointed out that being a Cybetronian, Starscream doesn't need to breathe or anything... so the sheer fact that they FORGOT THAT and kept the fight land-locked is kind of retardedly absurd.... since Cybertron DOESN'T HAVE AN ATMOSPHERE AT ALL of any kind... so it should've been really easy for the Commander of the Seekers armada to drag the pony into deep space and let the thing die from being in a vacuum.

One you must prove it, two there is nothing to show its a light saber equivalent, three a dumb rock? Rainbow endured a tactical nuke without a scratch but you think a rock destroyer would work? 4. I'm not saying she can outrace a laser (which BTW go no fucking where near 1/1000th the speed of light) I'm saying that her going 38 times too fast for the eye to see means targeting and hitting her is damn near impossible, especially with aim as bad as Starscreams, five I'm not a brony, but you're clearly an idiot who has not the slightest idea what he's talking about

1) Don't need to... the wikia's ALONE can prove that for me.

2) THE LASER BLOWS UP BOULDERS! ... explain that bullshit?

3) IT CAN'T SURVIVE A CONCENTRATED LASER BLAST... IE the blast is about as powerful and lethal as being stabbed by a FUCKING LIGHTSABER!

FURTHERMORE the speed of light is SOMETHING NO BEING CAN REACH or dodge:

The pony can NOT REACH THAT FUCKING SPEED as that is literally being able to move faster then any sentient being can.

I don't seem to find one BUT I have numerous scenes where Starscream will blast something and it would just explode, which leaves me to believe that it ACTUALLY has a standard blaster setting built into it. As a simple EMP-like blast shouldn't be able to blow up a FUCKING BOULDER!

SO it's safe to say that at the very least the Null-Ray has a setting that works like every OTHER blaster in the Transformers universe in that it has a 'death-ray beam mode'.... think every gun from Star Wars but much bigger and powerful.

SOOO that hit should have at the very least done SOME damage to the pony, given it's able to blow shit up in the Cartoon.

(Sigh) If you are THAT dissatisfied with the results, request a rematch. There are more machines in Equestria than just a sewing machine. Season 2 Episode 8 there is clearly a construction crane that starscream could probably posess. Now go take it up with Ben Singer, Not the G1 Commenters...

Death Battle uses all available resources, so which G1 did they use? All of them.

If something is shown even once, it is canon unless directly contradicted by something else.

Cartoon physics. It doesn't matter how she creates a tornado that doesn't affect herself, it's canon. Much like how it is impossible for transforming jet planes to exist and function properly.

When Starscream died, he lost the Death Battle. What happened after that does not at all contribute to it, it was just amusing.

Easy the fight had very little ACTUAL real knowledge in it's credit.

1) The shit about Starscream invading a 'robot girl' and the Beast Wars info ... takes place in ALTERNATE REALITIES.

Even then it's hard to tell WHICH version of Generation 1 (G1) they want to go with: The original G1 cartoon? The IDW G1 comic line? The Marvel Comics G1 comic line that had them side-by-side with Spiderman?

So there are a lot of different ways they could go.

2) The weapons they gave Starscream are just wrong... in the continuity He doesn't come with Heat seeking missiles, and the chest missile launcher thing was only shown in one episode of the original cartoon... and was never mentioned/shown/talked about again. So I'm not exactly sure that those should be used if they should've given him those if they want to make it more of a fair fight.

3) HOW THE FUCK can you create a tornado strong enough to lift something that at minimuim weight about 34 tons... WITHOUT AFFECTING THE FUCKING PONY FIRST... no not joking there isn't anyway for those physics to work and we KNOW they try to follow as best as they can the laws of physics. SO WTF was with that?

4) When Starscream died, he turned into a spectral form of himself, who had transcended death as a shimmering, ethereal "ghost". That's it... he became a GHOST. IT WAS ONLY LATER retconned to having an Aberrant spark when Beast Wars... which since they ONLY ARE GOING BY G1.... this is then voided.

SO NO... the gay pony could not have eaten a fucking GHOST!

5) Null-Ray: One of the signature weapons of Starscream and the Seekers, the null-ray is capable of stopping any electrical device with one shot, be it human or Transformer.

SO clearly this bullshit about the Null-Ray not working on organic creatures is just utter shit AS IT'S SHOWN IN THE FUCKING CARTOON that Starscream's Null-Ray does actually affect just about any sentient being that has a brain. AS EVERY SCENE WITH STARSCREAM shooting the blasters on his arms ... That's his Null-Ray... and we see that shit work on just about EVERYTHING.

So again... pony is DEAD!
