Sounds like you guys will be staying near where I did in New York last year and that part of Manhattan seemed pretty safe to me. I loved the Nintendo World Store, check out the still working Game Boy that got blown up in the Gulf War. I bought a Zelda t-shirt and a Kirby toy.
Well yeah I know they have some, but compared to the amount of merch they have the games are kind of insignificant. At least that's how I remember it.
No, they do have games there. That place is where I bought my beloved copy of WarioWare D.I.Y.
Don't worry Screwattack your going to stay in Time Square not Harlem you be fine :)
There is but it's in a little coner with just cards plushie and other stuff not really something worthwhile
Little do they know all this information will be valid for me to "coincidentally" bump into them (sooonn)
I've always wanted to go to the Nintendo World Store. :'(
I went to the Nintendo Store before. I concur with what has been posted previously. It's really not that exciting. They are definitely not utilizing the allure of that place enough. STUPID FINALS!!!
Just so you guys know, my friends went to NY for Spring Break and they said that the Nintendo Store was pretty underwhelming. Don't want you guys to be disappointed.
OK, where the hell did I put the REVULSIVE Signal at? It's time for another Jared photoshop. [=)]
How about having a trip to the Nintendo world store with the G1's? Maybe the day after destroying dorkly? Ideassssssss.
dont worry about manhattan you most likely wont get mugged there......just dont go to the south bronx
That sounds like a great idea.
Go Bar hopping in NYC its fun man
time square? don't worry about muggings there are so many cops and so many people don't worry about being mugged just don't flash money, iPhones, have headphones in, or your expensive cameras. Even then you don't need to worry just don't do nothing stupid and you'll be fine in time square.
WHAT??? "the hit the music" button ISNT firmly planted on the table O_O
Jared, the Pokemon store use to be the Nintendo Store, but I think there is a section in the store that is now all Pokemon
I live like an hour away. It's not AMAZING. The best things there are that little museum and the Pokemon figurines. No retro games or anything you can BUY, but cool stuff to see. Too much stuff you dont want to buy as an adult, really. AWESOME nonetheless! I go every time I go down to NYC.
I second this,
Please let Sean, Lauren and Sam do a SideScrollers next week! Newbs podcast! :D
And yeah Craig, the Nintendo Store is almost only merch and collectibles.
