Hmm.. watched the trailer for New Super Mario Bros 2 on my 3DS... I see the 1up symbol every time they pass 100 coins? Has this changed?

You know the these latest Mario games don't seem TOO different from their predecessors. But if the game play is good and fun then I won't complain. But the third games to come out better be different or a while from now.

Sidescroller Mario is being overdone, and the 3D platformer series is getting a little stale.

Disagree with Mario being compared to the Call of Duty series in terms of being all the same. The Galaxy games were a lot different than the New series and same goes for the classic NES series and World series.

I do agree that Mario tends to play and look the same within its own sub-series like with the New series.

If there ever was a title for this it would be "Dick Grinding"
