I practically lived at my friend's house for a summer watching G4 on one screen and gaming on the other. After that I upgraded my cable package just for G4 at home. Then G4 started sucking and I pretty much stopped watching TV completely. I don't really have a "goodbye G4" because I already said goodbye to it a long time ago.

I won't link to it but there are still some places that have old episodes of Icons streaming online that are still just as awesome to watch.

I was like seven-years-old back in 2002 when G4 was first launched on Comcast/time Warner. It slowly became the channel I watched daily besides Cartoon Network and Power Rangers. 2002- mid 2006 (during the merger with tech TV) were the best years of G4. You had Blister, Judgment day, Portal, Filter, Cheat, Arena, Cinema-tech, Pulse (the original AOTS), X-play for the first 5 years and G4TV.com the show. Though when they merged with Tech TV when shit went down hill, they still had good shows like Code Monkeys. Then around 2007 after E3, thats when it started to suck balls (for me) and the only time G4 today was ever great was when they decided to do a G4 rewind in the summer of 2008 when they showed all the old Shows from 2002-2005. Hearing G4 going extinct wasn't a surprise because of the fact they show more repeats of cops and cheaters than shows about Fucking VIDEO GAMES! I mean the one thing I watched on G4 today was the Marvel Anime Block because well....... its fucking Marvel Anime! plus E3 coverage is and always will be a must see on G4 since they were the first to cover it back in 2002. NBCU said they would still focus on games but more on other shit too. I wish the "change" could have been just taking Cops and Cheaters and other shows that just show repeats off air and bring back shows that focused more on what the channel is all about: Video Games. Thankfully, that is why we got Screwattack and Machinima for doing what G4 should have kept on doing. now if only we could get a Screwattack Channel on Television....... three years is a good start to get that dream to happen

yay, homebrew, one of the reasons I bought the vita. no I'm serious, I bought the vita hoping for it to be hacked so that I can play homebrew emulators and ports on that thing.

The 3DS does have few more games than the Vita but they both need more games badly.

yeah g4 was dead to me when they cancelled Arena, Portal and Cheat, and replaced it with cops and cheaters.. not sad to hear that their done
