Didn't Sony release a statement not too long ago saying that they would let Microsoft make the first move (between the 2 of them) in terms of new hardware? So if this is a PS4 announcement, they were lying.

Personally I hope it isn't a PS4 announcment or at least say it won't be comming out for a while, I just got a PS3 recently.

I just can help but feel the "announcement" on Feb 20th is just a huge tease and all we'll really get is the launch of a new PSN or something thereabouts, and giving fanboys blueballs is not a smart idea. I really hope it's for real though. we need that new console just as much a M$ needs a replacement it's current console.
