Even if none of these points concerned me, Jared's jokes made this edition still fun to watch. Haaa...

Wow... you lost so... so many Geek points in my opinion for that comment Jared... just wow... have you even watched DS9, have you even watched it all the way through! That series is awesome...I agree with Baleoce above me here. Though you know what I put it up higher then TNG, but that's just for me. Now if it was based on Voyager or god help us Enterprise 1-3 seaons then, and only then would that joke work.

Also if it's space born combat then DS9 during the whole you know DOMANION WAR! That would make it the perfect place to base space combat MMO around!

I loved the Dominion War. It's never been matched for depth of story in Trek. Also agreed on how DS9 suits that type of game more than any other series. Glad to know someone else appreciated Season 4 Enterprise xD After shifting TV network they really did just go all out. Far more enjoyable than the first 3. The mirror universe episode in season 4 was particularly enjoyable xD

Wow, Jared, your Shepard must have gotten really drunk, since that getting wasted happened on Citadel, not on Omega.

There's still STOnline for a F2P Star Trek option....

...Note I didn't say a GOOD option.... :/

Not being the most hardcore PC gamer, I must admit that Valve now branching out into the app market does make me seriously consider signing up. Well, I finally picked up a copy of the first ME so hooray for spoilers! And while it is a little sad that the Star Trek MMO is no longer going to be published, with the way developers and creators are laying off people it shouldn't be much of a surprise. And for your information Jared Star Trek: DS9 wasn't THAT bad!

Agreed. It is also the best option for that type of game. Right near the end of the TNG saga, so much more potential for flexibility with canon. It was an amazing series. I can take a joke, but for those who took it seriously, I think they need to actually watch DS9 properly. Also, first person to even mention Voyager being a better choice, gets an e-slap.

I'll be the first to admit that when DS9 was announced I wasn't totally sold on the concept. And this is coming from Star Trek fan. For me what edges it out over was the Dominion War. Possibly one of the most awesome story arcs ever written for TV. Conspiracies. Changlings. Major characters killed off. Major characters compromising their values. Shifting alliances. Truly awesome.
