actually the depressurization of the umbillical would not create a total vaccum, an immense drop in pressure that would certianly give the marine a bad case of the bends, but 3 seconds with pressurized air flowing out of the sulaco would have permitted him to survive for the 30 seconds of exposure.
human beings can survive, though not very well, for about a minute in pure vaccum is trained, which the Colonial Marines would be

I am really in debt to this show specifically because I've never really played any games in the Alien/Predator franchise and when I saw this in Steam I was thinking about buying it. But thanks to this show and you guys, you probably just saved me another paycheck.
