Looking at Vita's Future
We got to see a lot of the Vita during South by Southwest, and Sean has all the details on what you can get your hands on soon.
Hey I wanted to see MLB The Show : '(
It actually looks to be quite a bit of interesting games on the Vita. Still, I'm not sure that it's worth the purchase yet...
What is this "sports" you speak of?
"Sports.." - This is why I love Screw Attack.
the vita needs more games that are it's own. stuff you can't get anywhere else. If I can get it on any other console I don't care about it. I want exclusives or it just doesn't matter.
Craig is not gonna' like what you said in the last bit, Sean. :D
Honestly, I believe there are plenty of people(including me) that just don't have time to game when we're actually not home. If i'm not home, i'm probably working or actually going to some LAN party or game tournament. I own all hand helds but heres the kicker, I play them all only when I'm in the house. So while I know I'm in the minority, I just hate playing a good handheld game when I could just play it on the TV. Thank god the PSP has a tv Cable. Sadly nothing like that for the DS games.
And I reckon you're an idiot who actively replaces the past with a preferable version. Nintendo were absolutely colossal douchebags in the 90's, from their treatment of third parties, to the colossal arrogance of thinking they could release the fucking virtual boy. Being slapped around by Sony was something very very neccesary.
If you're ruling Unit 13, Lumines Supernova, Uncharted Golden Abyss and UMVC3 out, then all of those games fail to measure up too. I'm just applying the same logic evenly - the very definition of not being a fanboy, actually being completely equal. I'm being 100% neutral here.
You're cute. Don't get upset that I am not running out to get a vita and marrying it on the spot. ;)
I think this is the first time I've seen Sean do something in a professional setting. I like it, Sean!
Just think about it. There wouldn't be a thing called the Vita if it weren't for the gameboy. There wouldn't be any gaming if it weren't for the NES. Nintendo doesn't need any slaps to be good. You're just a massive fanboy and you just reckon that the PS2 is great cause it isn't Nintendo. (Don't get me wrong, I love Sony's consoles. I just reckon your being a tool that jacks off in public when Sony releases something.
Kid Icarus Uprising, Super Mario 3D Land, Mario Kart 7, Star Fox 64 3D. The Vita really has one more than the 3DS. Massive fanboyism.
Not really interested, considering I got a 3DS just over a week ago.
Great to see some Vita game hands on first impressions. Love the not caring about MLB the Show with a long pause and then SPORTS.
I guess that's the internet for you. All the time with the fanboys. I just go ahead and buy all the consoles. If I care about them. Wasteful maybe, but I like video games. It's okay to have an opinion, but people get a little over-the-top with them. Granted, I think we all do that now and then (I know I'm guilty of doing so). I do shudder at the thought of relying on a 3DS and OnLive on a NETBOOK for my gaming, though. I think that'll give me nightmares, actually...
Although I've got to say, the 3DS, whilst neat, is a bit of a novelty item for me. I have a whole bunch of games for it but most of them I bought for very low sale prices, and whilst all the games I have are enjoyable, most of them are also not worth their recommended retail price.
I did also get a Vita, and that thing is great. I use it a lot, and whilst it isn't perfect, it's damn near close. The Minis library, the PSP games and its own library all rolled into one.... It's just a fantastic device. It also has a lot of power behind it. Metal Gear Solid HD Collection on Vita..... As opposed to Metal Gear Solid 3D..... I know which one I'd pick.
YOU'LL BE GOOD AT THEM!
Yes because clearly I can just go out and play in the MLB and run a franchise!
You know the best way to pplay a baseball game? Go outside and play baseball, seriously.
