Something I love about old school Final Fantasy: Characters are Dead, not KO. When HP reached 0, the window said: Slain. Today, they just fall on the ground with no message telling you they died.

Aww... I love Super Mario Bros 3. I mean... I still have friends over once every so often to sit down and play though the whole thing. And guess what? I just found the instruction booklet! Seriously. They don't make'em like they used to ^^
