Is the game actually "symetrical"? As in: Is there the same amount of bad guys comming from the right side than there is on the left? After the first two games I had the impression that there were more enemies/objects/discs comming from the right side than the left side during the game... If that's the case, then the 2nd player has an advantage, both due to bullet travel time and from a mental standpoint (You are more likely to priorize things on your side of the screen). I might be wrong though! It's just the impression I got and it might just be a "placebo" effect.

I also have to point out that it's a bit strange that the player that dies more is the player that has the advantage, since there's no penality for dying, but you get 50 free discs.

Regarding the scores... You can't really compare the scores between the games, since different paths were used in the various playthough.
