I think I was introduced to Animal Crossing way to late or something. I can see the appeal that the game has on people, but I just find the game unbelievably boring.
Man I remember when I was younger I would play this game for days.... ah... It was great...
Craig's taught you well, Ben.
I agree. There seems to be constant ongoing circle of lauren not being all that good at video games and other people (not only ben) using that fact to make fun of her. At times its so much that at least I almost feel uncomfortable, it feels unnecessary and juvenile when its not at all on even terms. Its easy to say "you suck at this game" when you don't pick up the controller yourself. Well to sum it up I guess I feel that sometimes it passes the limit of friendly competitive banter and crosses in to humiliating someone els for entertainment values which in my mind at least is neither entertaining nor ok. banter But then again all I know is what I see during those brief moments when they stand in front of the camera.
I see a future for Ben and Lauren,u know what I mean
Ben, its funny if you are a dick sometimes...if you are a dick all the time then you are just a dick :P
Personally, I could watch you guys play Animal Crossing from ground-up for a long time. I was actually hoping this would be the next game you guys did for your Let's Play Wednesday, but at least I got to see it for one week!
Lauren's comment about Ben hoarding the 'firehydrants', calling him Firehydrant Lady, made my day.
The entire sequence involving Ben's basement was hilarious as heck.
"I am not a serial killer." Best Screwin' Around quote ever!
I can only imagine what my town looks like. I thought of going back, but the thought that Bob the cat might have moved out frightens me more than it should. Lots of weeds to pick, lots of animals to whine about their for-free gardener leaving them alone. And my entire house was filled with garbage, as well as the house on the island from that GBA connect thing - like a true pack rat.
No Punch-Out!!! for your room? Only game that mattered (well, Excitebike was fine). I still remember all the rumors about that game and the others that may or may not have become available, such as Mario and Zelda.
Dinner and a date with me would be the worst event of your life.
Dinner AND a date? I tell ya what Lauren, if ever you're in my neck of the woods, we'll have to set something up. [=)]
Never played Animal Crossing, but judging what I see, Tom Nook is a bastard. Just sayin'.
F-bomb counter: 2. Now why weren't they saved for Tom Nook?
So we know Lauren's not very good at old school games. Might I suggest a day where she tries to play NES and SNES games? Here are a few she can play: Battletoads, Ghosts N' Goblins, Gradius 3, DKC2, MegaMan X, F-Zero, Super Mario Kart, Super Mario Bros: Lost Levels, Earthworm Jim, etc.
lol XD Lauren changing the animals' catch phrases to say crazy things sounded hilarious!
i was about to say this game will never end O_______O
