I have yet to buy a game with online passes. I think it completely stupid and shows that the gaming companies are greedy. Unfortunately, I have to side with Craig on this one. While I, as a gamer, hate this move, it is a growing trend that all companies will adopt in the near future. Video games are big business now, and like all business companies, the ultimate goal is to make money. It's just sad that video games are no longer a hobby with the final goal of having fun.

I have purchased 3 new games with online passes. All of them have an online pass cost of 9.99, but also had a 2 day free trial, so I think renting won't have an issue.
