The death screens from Batman: Arkham Asylum are my most memorable. Having the opponent who killed you insult you afterwards makes you want to kick their a$$ even more.

First of all, I would like to say thank you for picking my Middle Segment Suggestion and thank you for complimenting me on a job well done. I felt that Game Over screens are what many of us can relate to as we've all had to play with trial and error (mostly error), and it turns out that failure tends to stick out more than success. I've seen my fair share of Game Over screens from Zelda II's Return of Ganon to Banjo-Kazooie's Grunty Transformation (awwwwwwww man); however, the one that I can truly remember from my childhood was from X-Men 2 on the Sega Genesis where after expending all of your lives, it goes to a computer screen detailing in text of every city assimilated. That left me with a feeling of remorse that reminded me that I FAILED on a grand scale (of course being defeated by Lavos gave me that same feeling). Here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a8RubXaQJEc

Secondly, when it comes to my favorite N64 games, definitely Goldeneye, Super Mario 64, Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and Banjo-Kazooie rank up there. There was this one RPG I played on the N64 (I can't remember the name of it), and it required an expansion pak in order to save game data. I had rented it for the weekend, and I couldn't get very far without that expansion pak. My all-time favorite has to be WWF No Mercy as, at the time, it was the best simulation of pro wrestling I'd ever played. I would spend hours upon hours playing matches, simulating matches, and creating wrestlers.

Lastly, I'm wondering if Chad did something different with his hair. It didn't appear to have that same feralness (for a lack of a better term) that it did in that Clip of the Week Advantage Content video where it was covering Ben's head. That one made me laugh. Again, thank you and I look forward to next week's Sidescrollers Birthday pics. It's gonna be interesting how everyone's imagination will be captured on camera.

Just thought I'd say, I prefer the news desk segment to the hard news section. Just thought I'd correct Craig on it being everyone's favourite segment.

the Batman:Arkham Asylum's game over screens were really good, when the villian that your after during that point of the game comes out of the darkness and just basically rips you a new one.

One of the most prominent game over screens was the Goldeneye death screen with the blood. Especially after a proximity mine explosion. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ilrh1fx2c8E This is footage from the HD remake but the old one is the same.

Why are half the sidescrollers just video and half have audio? I listen to sidescrollers on my ipod, and I feel really ripped off when i cant listen to it, sense I don't have time to sit down a watch a 50 minute video.
