Being a southern Floridian, I can say that, as long as I've been watching SideScrollers (which has been about a year or two), the only newsdesk story that's reached us was the guy who ate the other guy's face off. Besides that, nothing else crazy has happened around me. Most of those stories come from Central/North Florida. I guess the Hispanic population isn't as rowdy as the mostly white population.

My family does the standard Christmas stuff, but the only real tradition we have is watching a movie. I don't mean a specific movie (like Die Hard or something), just any movie. Typically something we haven't seen yet. Doesn't have to be Christmas related in the slightest, but it sometimes is. Just any movie, doesn't matter how old. (Although generally it's something relatively recent. But not always: last year we watched The Dark Crystal.)

lol Socks...they only time I ever got excited for socks was when I got these Pac-man socks that were Ballin'. I can't believe no one made a donkey punch joke during the donkey banging newstory... and finally I think Sam should dress as Jesus for Mario Party After Dark 8, just to fuck with Chad, Jared and Jose....lol I can imagine him going "See that 10 I just rolled? Jesus power, bitches!'

ah yes, QQ. its like yahoo messenger/games combined. everybody and their momma uses QQ here, even companies use it as a way to communicate instead of phones a lot of the time. need to make a dentist appointment? message the office on QQ. need a new couch? QQ the store and tell them what you want. its not just about the gaming, its almost a necessatiy in china.

This is the first time I'v logged on since Jared left. Just wanted to say I am really impressed by Sam lately. He is really a great dude! I completely agree that the most memorable games lately are Far Cry 3 and Rayman Legends. Stoked for Mario Party After Dark on Friday! :)
