just like how James Rolfe described his worst memory of seeing TMNT III, same thing can be said about this stinker. I looked into this film because I heard of how bad it truly was, and I kept asking myself "well, it can't be that bad, right?", oh man was it bad. you know when people saw the trailer to Jack & Jill, it pisses them off so much they they fell like pulling hairs out of their heads, puncturing your own ear drums, or even gouging out the eyes to relieve the pain? watch the trailer, and you will get the same reaction. as Lewis Black's joke could be applied here, I would of taken a wooden spoon and shoved it up my own ass. why? to distract myself from the pain. because if I am going to hurt that much, I'd rather do it to myself. what makes it worse is that this film is only 2 years old. a 2011 remake should never, ever, get to this level of bad. if Clive Barker didn't sue the studio for this abomination, then he should.
exactly. I even saw recently a film written and directed by Clive Barker on demand called Lord Of Illusions. plus, he also gave us yet another great horror film called Candyman. you can't help but feel for Clive Barker for how they bastardizerd this Hellraiser film. if you worked so hard on something for so long, and these kind of douchebag's come in and rush out a film like that, I would feel bad too. it felt more like an Asylum version of Hellraiser than an actual studio version. when new movies can't even light a single candle to the older film, then you've got big problems, and this is becoming a growing trend. on the flip side though, his more recent comic books of Hellraiser were far, far better than the shitty remake. Hellraiser Revelations is just an utterly bad film in every possible way, and in many ways, a wake up call for this remake trend. it's even worse than the remake of Psycho. it's repulsive, it's shameful, it gets nothing right and everything wrong, and it just leaves you with a rather unsettling & dirty feeling. after I watched it, I kept rubbing my shoulders because it felt like something you weren't suppose to be doing, that kind of bad.
That's also coming from a guy who notably likes it up the butt-hole too. xD All joking aside, I love Clive Barker....he is a modern day H.P. Lovecraft, except with demons. Hellraiser has always been one of my favorite horror franchises and Revelations was a rushed abomination, just so the movie studio could renew their license. Pinhead looked like fucking Bert from Sesame Street...only, Bert is more menancing. The whole production was a rush job and it shows in every facet.
I can also jam my left index finger so it stays in place. Literally fold my tongue onto itself. And pop my kneecaps
The answer is yes, but I don't do it as often anymore
I've watched some pretty bad movies myself. Robocop 3: so bad even Frank Weller dropped out of the role. Batman and Robin: Not so much the Mr. Freeze puns which I love to make fun of, but rather how they wrote in Barbara Gordon...er excuse me, Barbara Pennyworth. Mortal Kombat: Annihilation: Do I need to say more. See No Evil: Just a horrible horror movie all around, and the blatant use of CG didn't help matters either.
Is it weird that as soon as I heard the second forum question that I immediately recalled Chad's Chrono Trigger story from an earlier episode of Sidescrollers?
I finally see someone else who can dislocate their shoulder on command. The question is solidant23, are you able to dislocate both your shoulders?
the squid and the whale is the worst movie ever.,
it's the worst film I have ever seen, and I can go as far to claim it as the worst horror film ever made, the worst remake ever made, probably the worst...thing...to be released from a motion picture studio. it sucks so badly that it deserves to be placed among the worst of worst list right next with The Room, Birdemic, Bio-Dome, & Catwomen. it can't get any worse than this.
what could be worse than The Last Airbender? Hellraiser Revelations. why do I consider that film to be the worst film ever made? here are my personal reasons. #1 - it gets Pinhead completely wrong. much like Robert Englund and Tobin Bell, Doug Bradly has played Pinhead in every single film. and much like how remakes tend to be (except for the recent Curse Of Chucky), they re-cast the iconic actors. and 9 times out of 10, they get them completely wrong. Hellraiser Revelations takes it to a whole new level of wrong. Pinhead in that film is unusually chubby. #2 - the acting, the script, the dialogue, even the effects are horrendously bad. so bad that at times it gets down right unsettling, and not in a good way. after watching it, it leaves you with a bad, BAD feeling. like this film should not exist and that you need to take a shower afterwards. I kept rubbing my shoulders by the time the end credits popped up. finally, #3 - say what you want about the majority of the horror remakes. they either tend to be accepted or passed by the original creators, or they just leave the opinions open to the fans and not the creators themselves. Hellraiser Revelations is the only remake I have ever seen that pissed off it's original creator. Clive Barker responded to this film by saying "I want to put on record that the flic out there using the word Hellraiser IS NO FUCKIN' CHILD OF MINE! I have NOTHING to do with the fuckin' thing. If they claim its from the mind of Clive Barker, it's a lie. It's not even from my butt-hole." yikes. Hellraiser Revelations is just shockingly and unspeakably bad.
I went into Napoleon Dynamite with a fair amount of skepticism, but I ended up laughing. I'm not a fan of the movie even though it amuses me to this day. Your guess is as good as mine with regard to why I like it.
The worst movies I've ever seen are DOA: Dead or Alive and a 2003 Mexican film called "El Clon de Hitler".
The worst movie I have seen (not counting "so bad that it's good", i.e. "Batman and Robin" or "Battlefield Earth") would have to be "Napoleon Dynamite". I have never seen a movie lazy enough to not make interesting characters, not give us an interesting story or even TRY to give a coherent plot, not intentionally give us a funny moment, and simply go for the demographic of middle-schoolers that will laugh at anything, druggies, or people with no life. Yet, for reasons that completely baffle me, it's pretty dang popular and achieved a cult following, a video game for the DS, and a TV show just as its influence was starting to die out. Even FANS of the movie can't give me a legit reason as to why it's good. Not a good sign if you ask me...
What almost made it for me... -District 9 -The Last Airbender -James Cameron's "Avatar" -Moulin Rouge! -Bio-Dome -Baby Geniuses
My worst film has to be "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus" and "Avatar The last Airbender [movie]."
The worst film i have ever seen is Dragonball Evolution.
i was over 50 hours into Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 FES on PS3(downloaded from PS store) and there's a bug with the saving system. I tried to play a second game file where my character was a asshole to all the characters and i tried to save my second save and it didn't work at first.. I tried against and it worked but my first save with my 50+hour save was gone.. pissed me off so badly..
I actually liked the legend of chun-li movie... it's not that bad.. possibly because i'm not a big street fighter fan and i only know that most bare basics about the characters. oh and the budget for the film was $50,000,000 and it only made $12,764,201.. Abraham Lincoln: vampire hunter was pretty fucking awesome too
