VGV - Battle Chess
Even if you have no idea how to play chess this game has something for you.
And then many years later, Rowling copied it into Harry Potter. See? It all comes from games!
Wow, this is like deeper, more epic Wizard's chess. If it didn't run so slowly, I'd try to get this game.
The main focus of this game certainly isn't about Chess though the rules still apply. It combines both the elements of a battle, in this case fighting and violence, with the game of Chess. Definitely interesting to play as it is interactive where every Chess piece movement triggers a fight between the 2 pieces. But overall I think each battle scene is a little bit exaggerated. However if it is solely created for the purpose of entertainment and humor, it has reached its goals.
MK Chess was AMAZING!
"look at that queen's ass shake before she takes down that pawn." lmao
thats pretty sweet, never knew of any chess games with actual animation, and this just might start a research on this kind of awesomeness.!
was that the rook at the end?....
OMG I'm not the only one!!!
hah! i recognize those battles! used to play a version of that game back in the day... ah good times... good times
Reminds me of Star Wars chess.
Only Chess video game I ever played was Chessmaster.
Looks like the inspiration for Mortal Kombat Chess (found in Deception), Archon was also most likely an inspiration for it. Man I played MK Chess like crazy.
lol my fiance joeyschmidt, as soon as craig said battle chess, went "YASSSSSSS" lol i believe that means he approves of this message lol. great video
Great game, but it took forever for pieces to move. However, this game taught me the 'castle' move.
I played the PC version too! It was quite graphic - but made chess much more appealing to me. :)
I remember this game. We used to try to go into our friend's room who lived by our church just to watch him play it, haha.
we dont need kickstarter
There actually was a version of this on PC back in the day too, and the animations were way better...there was blood and dismemberment too, which I don't remember if there was on the NES version.
I want to see Craig go head to head with someone who also isn't good at chess on Screwin Around with this game.
