This was a game on the PS1 that me and everyone in my family played, from my brother and step brothers, to my sisters and step sister, and even my Dad who is a Tekken Wizard and introduced me to the series, first it was Tekken 2, then Tekken 3 which my bro got for his birthday over 17 years ago when it released, countless matches playing as Yoshimutsu, Hwoarang, Jin, Xiaoyu, Eddy, and Julia was awesome, and Tekken Ball and Tekken Force were great min-games to play. Good times all around. ^_^ Glad my copy still works.
I remember beating a bunch of people at my local arcade on this game, Lei FTW.
The bears have that ability, though it auto kills now.
I loved the Jamaican guys level music !!.....
Played it so much with friends and my sister. Loads of fun that I only achieved back years later with soul calibur.
Gone with the wind! LOL
This game was so awesome :)
I remember this game so fondly
great job nick...
And then Kuma inherited his masterly skills of farting and perfected it in Tekken 6.
i know unfair bitchness
Because Gon isnt a Tekken character, he was a character from a Japanese manga series that was thrown in for a cameo.
Why the hell isn't Gon in any other Tekken games?
I don't know any of those characters handle handle the BEAR(I forgot its name).
Same here. Looking forward to TTT2?
I remember a playstation magazine giving a demo of this away for free... not just a disk full of demo's, no... just tekken 3 in an awesome black case with 2 playable characters... eddy and some chick... the marketing worked and I bought the game a week before christmas out of my own pocket in the hope my parents would get me a Playstation... come to think of it, I was a lousy kid...
Tekken 3 is my favorite. This one introduced me to the Tekken series, and I feel it's one of the best.
NOT true. His DF1+2 (special mid) was an excellent poke, and I used it all the time. Also, from flamingo, you would use punchs to reset many of his flamingo infinite combos.
Hworanang could be cheap, but you really did have to use the control stick to maximize his move set...but you're right, you never punch with him. EVER.
