The kind of animation they have done is really great i just love this game..looking forward to see more of it.. standard motors
Loved this game on the Dreamcast. I always wanted the original house of the dead for the saturn but didn't want to pay top $ for it and it became difficult to find. Thankfully I picked up a cheap Japanese copy when I went over there.
The graphics for this game are pretty decent too. They look a tad dated now but thats to be expected.
It was unlockable in House of the Dead 3 on the Xbox.
I actually like the movie they made based off the games.
Played and beaten years upon years ago...but I don't remember when or how! I know I didn't beat this in arcades/Dave & Busters...I don't remember owning this on the Dreamcast...I only remember owning House of the Dead 3 on the Xbox...but I know I've beaten this game before!
Hey, he was playing my favorite OCRemix Mavrick Rising for the bgm!! XD
What happened with normalboots.com? did the rest of the crew turn down screwattack or something?
Yay! Another Completionist episode, and it's a FPS.
Yeah. At least we have some compilation discs and other medias pushing some of it out. I love GOG (good old games) and similar services. It`s really sad to that so many arcades have died out and that my generation who should have been apart of the arcade boom never really could experience it do to the lack of arcade halls in Norway. Ah Nice =) There are something like 4.6 million Norwegian Americans. It started in 1985 (Norwegian Mayflower). Many moved do to religious beliefs and not being satisfied with how our country was driven at the time. Many people from Norway search trough their family history and find out that they have American relatives.
Ahhhh yes, I remember the old days of dumping hundreds of coins into arcade machines. Hard-pressed to find one these days i the US as well. I'm sure if I looked hard enough I could find one. Fun fact: My family came over to the US from Norway many generations ago!
Thanks for the info. Looking forward to seeing more. Also I love House of the dead. The cheesy voice acting and dialog is golden. Reminds me of old campy horror movies. We unfortunately don`t have many arcades in Norway (mostly we only had the opportunity to play those types of games when the Tivoli/fairgrounds with carrousels and such came to town), and at some bowling alleys. I used to work at a Bowling ally with four arcade cabinets. Crazy Taxi, Frankenstein pinball, safari hunter something and the original House of the Dead. That was my favorite since I could play Crazy Taxi for free on my x-box. We got complaints from some of the parents because of the violent nature of the game, and we had to cover it up with a black blanket when there were birthday parties for children in the hall (understandably enough). I remember going through it with another co worker on a particularly slow day. It took about 250-300 Norwegian kr (thats about 43-50 American dollars). Good times ^^
