This isn't at all a new concept and has been done in the gaming world for years. Anyone remember Streets of Sim City? You could create a city in Sim City 2000 and then race/destroy is in Streets of Sim City.

Thing is, when you make multiple games an integral part of a gaming universe it requires all those games to be.. good. You might find your FPS game good, but the politic sim or RTS game connected to it might suck.

Hey Extra Credits! You guys are so awesome, that I actually recreated my account with ScrewAttack, just so I could comment on your videos from now on. I loved this episode and I really hope this idea catches on.
You're absolutely right; this could strengthen the gaming community by closing gaps between groups of players and broaden the demographics for fans who want to share the medium.
Oh yeah, one more thing: Dyslexia fail, haha! It's "Dust Five ONE FOUR" not four one.

if it works, this could be the greatest thing to happen to games since the pause button.
