Not all funerals are depressing, so it follows that today's 'post-mortem' of the soon-to-conclude 7th Console Generation is equal parts exuberant praise and gnashing of teeth. A summary of Everestian heights and lows that seem destined to penetrate the earth's mantle.

You to mention how ony's online features are far more cohesive than Microsoft's, and how MS is so hostile towards independant developers that almost no one wants to indedpendantly develop for the 360, while Sony is more than happy to take those IDs MS sweeps aside in their arrogance.

Its alright...Nintendo's so called victory on the back of their own old and well know IPs is he sucking up to his favorite company, while forgetting that those casuals are not about to buy into the WiiU, because casuals dont care about new tech, but CHEAP tech, and the WIi was as innovative as it was expensive..so not at all IMO. Thats alright...
HE completely forgeting how MS threw away their own fans to try and get into Nintendo's ever so unfaitfull base of casuals, the absurdity of making your pay for online for something that is FREE in the concurrence (while not improoveing it to be at least on par with the paid service from said concurrence), and the more than absurd RRoD rates is he sucking up to MS...and thats alright too.
HE dishing Sony for their mistakes, their hubris and paying painfully for their mistakes this generation while forgetting their new IPs (some of witch became classics...Sony is the only company that made their 3rd installment in this industry with so many NEW IPs...thats courage for you, specially from a company that was taken as DOOMED to the haters...), the focus on getting better support to and from devs all gen and their constant improovement on their network services and being the better (well, at the very least, the more constant one...) console maker and gaming machine all around this gen is he being faithfull to his choices. And thats also alright......
Opinions, my friend, every one has one. And as I said, he's noted, accepted, and completely disregarded to me.

I was and still am a Nintendo Fanboy. So I only owned a Wii until last year, when I finally decided to buy an HD console. The choice was easy: I bought a 360, because why the fuck would I buy a PS3? The only PS3 exclusive I'm kinda intrested in is Metal Gear Solid 4, but I don't buy a console just for one game.

Nintendo fanboy, MS sucker and Sony hater.....your opinion has been posted, accepted, and then utterly discarded to me. I cant even try to argument against the obvious vitriol BS going on the PS part of the vid....it would trow me into a fanboy debate of so low level its a waste of time. Its the same FUD we spent the last 7 years seing...it shows someone bought it and isnt letting go....

This gen was/is a all around mess. I just prefer to see the good points of all big 3 instead of praysing some (but completely FORGETING their mistakes for arguments sake) and hating another spelling the same FUD that was rampant for 7 years. IF thats being a fanboy, then yeah, lets get on with that.

Basically if Valve doesn't do as well as expected with the SteamBox (which it won't), then this coming generation's winner is basically Microsoft by default? Whatever I guess. Nice video man

He says that based on the assumptions that the Wii U will get stronger but only so much and that Sony will repeat what they did in gen 7. If Microsoft does as well as they did in gen 7 then they'll run away with gen 8 easy...or they could pull a Sony.
