Never heard of this game before but it has an interesting concept. I think this would have worked better on the Sega CD as an FMV game similar to Night Trap but instead of activating traps to protect people, you do it to scare them.

Oh ok, just thought you hadn't been posting for a while since many on there seems to post very rarely now a days. Seems ridiculous that they aren't archiving your stuff. Sorry to have bothered you about it.

It is no bother, I realize some people may not know since no formal announcement was made . So unless you were subbed to my youtube you would never have seen anything about it. Plus like you said posting is sparse there as it is, I haven't visited since September but at that point it was mostly Lazy Game Reviews and I posting.

Ok, yeah it still the same with Pat and the game chasers posting once in a while and now after a long time away the video-game years started up again. I think it is weird they aren't trying to have a quicker stream of new content because this is the internet, people have the patience's of five year olds, and I think they are risking losing fans to sites with daily or at least weekly new content. But then again I don't know whats going on behind the curtains so.

LOL nice. I have this, loved it back in the day, still enjoy it. You'll be surprised how many different animations are in the game based on the house and item you possess. I was also amazed how they got away with quite a few details that normally would have caused problems around then. (violence, seeing family members wet themselves, posessing toilets and seeing a goblin yank logs of crap out to eat or throw at the walls..) . All in all though I found it pretty fun, except the dungeons you had to traverse for added ecto.. the floaty physics and 3/4 camera angle make the whole thing quite tricky to judge jumps and attacks.

One to look for that is similar and also right fun is Ghost Master, by the now defunct 'Sick Puppies' studio. It was originally on the PC and later released as "Ghost Master: The Gravenville Chronicles" for xbox. Sort of like haunting, if it was merged with sims 2 and the core mechanic of it was like Dungeon Keeper... so yeah.. also odd, but totally in line with playing something festive for Halloween.

Yeah there are tons of animations, it is pretty crazy. The back of the box says over 400 actually. It does have 16 mega power after all! Some of the more racy animations don't surprise me really, this is a game on a Sega system and the same system that had Splatterhouse 2 & 3; It has a rating of MA-13 on the box as well.

Being a fan of this game I've read a bit about Ghost Master and I've been meaning to try it.

Ghost Master is getting to where it'll feel pretty dated, but still has a nice humor and fun once you get good at it. It doesn't have as much versatility as everyone had hoped, and some of the puzzles and levels are mind-crackingly frustrating in the latter half of the game. But I still enjoyed it and got warm feelings when things clicked just right. :)

Haunting was a pretty big game for its time, and yeah, Sega was more liberal with stuff so they allowed all kinds of things in game. I was more thinking "holy crap if the censors saw this back when it was big news". but then again.. no nudity in the game so maybe thats all they worried about LOL.
