Seems a lot of people are misinterpreting what I meant. My distaste is directed to the fan preference of RE-RELEASES over new innovation or advancements. Not remakes (like your hollywood example which is totally different and waaaay better) or split budgets, but the fact that Nintendo was asking whether people wanted a re-release (not remake) of Majora's Mask or a brand new Zelda to brand itself as the 3DS's Zelda, and the majority prefers the re-release they've already played a dozen times. WTF? What does that mean?
Seriously, your life will be a whole lot easier if you unlock the whole map between weeks.
Ben, Grezzo did the remake, not Nintendo's portable Zelda team (they were actually helping the main Zelda team on Skyward Sword).

Love my Wind Breaker fix on wednesdays, gonna be sad when it's over!
French toast crunch is the best cereal, but they stopped making it :S
His favorite comic is the same as mine. Sonic Endgame FTW!
It's not like nintendo is new to the whole remaking business. (though some of these are ports and not remakes) NES mario bros remake on super nintendo - bundle with super mario world, remakes on GBA, a link to the past remake on GBA, DK remake on gameboy color, nintendo classic series, metroid zero mission. These are just the examples I can think right now.
ahh Ben trust me hollywood has been pulling this remake stuff for several decades now. They are usually mostly the same film with more of a touch up and a more modern message but I do see that video games remakes are not really updated but they can be used to introduced to the new gens who don't have a n64
Also I wonder if that question of having one movie includes interactive movies if so I would definitely choose heavy rain because there is a happy ending and a downer ending
This week... On Ghost Hunters...
