Dungeons & Dragons: Tower of Doom was released by Capcom in 1993. Tower of Doom was a beat em up game that combined the gameplay of games like Golden Axe with light RPG elements such as a level-up system and the ability to equip weapons and spells. In 1996, Capcom released a sequel to Tower of Doom called Dungeons & Dragons: Shadow Over Mystara. Both were released on a disc for the Sega Saturn called the Dungeons & Dragons Collection.
King of the Monsters is a co-op beat em up style game that was released in 1991 by SNK Playmore. This game mimics wrestling games but replaces fighters with knock offs of popular kaiju monsters of the era such as Godzilla, King Kong and Ultraman.

Me and John talk a lot about SGC (ScrewAttack Gaming Convention) and Dallas. Then we talk a bit about Guacamelee, Rogue Legacy, and a few other games. It was a lot of fun at SGC and we got to witness a person getting hit in the eye with candy, a super nerd reveals he hasn't had his first kiss, and we got to witness AVGN describe his last shit as a shitty game and a ton more. Check out our website for more of this awesome content
Ever heard of Quartet by Sega? It was a side scrolling co-op shooter kinda like Contra. It was released on the Master System in 1987.
