Sigh, sometimes i can recall what i said last time in kotaku, they asked "what games should be remade or have a sequel?" i commented "None, stop making remakes or sequels to old games, they keep doing it and it keeps sucking. Leave their milestones alone."

While it looks great visually and in the music...the gameplay does feel a bit....slow.

Usually like games made by Wayforward but this one doesn't seem too good so far from the videos shown of it. Agree with others that it moves too slow.

Not to bash but this looks HORRIBLE. It's WAY too stiff & slow... and the animations are just plain bad. This game look pathetic & This is coming from a LONG TIME Double Dragon fanboy who GREW UP ON THE SERIES!

I understand that the original game wasn't overly fast, but technology has come a long way since then. This looks unplayablely (not a real word) slow. I agree with Tom though that the music is cool.

Overall, I really want this to be good but the way the characters move around looks like it's got re-shelled written all over it. Looks can be deceiving tho, only a demo can solve this mystery.

Looks fun, however what's up with the Golden Axe summon that Jimmy did? When will developers learn that magic don't belong in the Double Dragon universe. That's when it mostly turns out bad like DD 3, 4, and the movie. The tv show being the only real exception here. Still, the thing that makes DD great is how ground in reality it could be (at least for a video game). I'm still looking forward to it though.

Ya i just watched the original trailer and the gameplay looks a lot faster, prolly just showing off cool moves here.

The animations look really cheesy, and the game just feels slow-paced. I think this "reboot" (I'm not into Double Dragon, so I don't know how many Double Dragon games have been made, but I am aware of its importance in video game history) won't do the Double Dragon series justice.
