I've played some of Indigo Prophecy and the demo for Heavy Rain and I found the stories intriguing, but the gameplay was horrendous. Nothing but quick time events and the ability to control the speed a character opens a door. Why can't they just develop an actual game simultaneously with the story? Even a lackluster game like Final Fantasy XIII managed to pull off that balance. I feel like they want to make a movie, but charge the price of a game for people to see it.
